Shockingly nice airport. I am always quite surprised. Do be aware though that some of the gates are hella far away.

Airport was so cool!! But the custom security check was so tight. They scrutinized everything! Expect a bit longer than usual queue

If you have escorted by your tour guide.. Make sure that they are holding the placard under your name.. But if you arrange it by your own.. Use the taxi to transfer to your selected hotel..

The airport may make a bad impressions because of the huge lines for passport control but when you enter once in the city you will forget the bad experience there!

They change departure gates quite often here, especially 30min - 45min before boarding time. Stay alert and always check the board for latest information.

Super unique external architecture. Their wifi is more reliable than some of those in US airports.

You are not allowed to bring any drinks to gate incl. purchased on airport. In some cases also alcohol from tax free shop might be confiscated.

Free WiFi, thank you, but someone tell the Balinese that power outlets are at LEAST as important. I see none in the whole airport!

There are 3 security checks before you board your flight. You CANNOT take any bottled water, drinks, etc. onboard even if you purchased them at the airport (after the 2nd check). Save your $$$!

Wifi was free and fast. We were over-charged by the taxi drivers. No other means of transport or no signs of it inside or outside of the airport. Not so friendly airport staff.

This morning friday oct 15th, airport closed due a holes in the runaway, they still work on it and airport will open at 12 noon earliest. All coming flight diverted to surabaya until runaway fixed.

Airport tax Rp.150000 should be paid separately for all the passengers departing from DPS airport. And make sure u carry Indonesian Rupiah or USD as they don't accept either Visa or Master cards

Dress lightly. When a resident friend commented that there is no cool air-conditioners, I didn't believe her. Now that I'm here waiting for my flight, I hv 2 nurse a Bintang beer to cool down :-(

For international departure, you can't take together any perfume more 100ml as hand carry. They will stop you at the immigration clearance and take it away. Even if it is already half used.

No exit tax needed for European passports. Good idea to have your boarding pass or confirmation email available before entering as they check at the door (before check in counter)

Better get someone to pick u up with BlueBird taxi's with the official meter than have to get rip off by an un-official taxi's with a play up meter. Anyway, I love Bali. Its My life!

The new airport is a vast improvement over the old one. Many new food places, immigration more organised and cars can come close to arrivals

$25 entry visa (there's no "Express Lane"; these are officials looking for bribes). Need 150,000 IDR in cash per person for exit tax & must present paper itinerary of next destination upon leaving.

Charge up your devices first! There're NO outlets ard the check-in counters. Only 2 outlets aft immigration (outside the toilets of gate 5 & 6/7?). Some at Black Canyon but you'll need the right seat.

If you're flying with Singapore Airlines note that there's a second security check at the gate and you can't bring water through even if you bought it air-side and it's still sealed.

Get a cab in taxi drop off area, it's a bit far but you can get BlueBird there, it's using argoMeter system,so you won't be cheated

BETTER to take the transpo of your hotels than taking the cab. Most of the airport taxis have a flat rate of 150,000 rupiah or 15 SGD . Hotels charge only 100,000 rupiah for airport pickup

Leave early enough that you don’t stress if there is heavy traffic jam at Jalan Bypass to the airport. You can always check on Google Maps.
