Make sure you drop off in the correct place - they pounce on you here even if you make a genuine mistake !

Welcome to the Olympic Games of Queueing! Going to Tatry? There are like 5 seats next to gate, so you have to stand in queue from hell. If you have chance of flying from Luton, pick another airport.
The worst airport in the UK. Instead of increasing retail space... provide people with some seats!
Paying £4 (£3 if prepaid) for fast lane through security saves about 15 minutes if you're in a hurry.
The £3 fee to drop off and pick up passengers is simply an extortion!
Bill BranniganOctober 8, 2021APCOA parking BANDITS, £1 per minute. £55 for waiting for less than 40 mins. The return flight cost £80, the London Zipcar £37. Like backlot parking spivs. Shame APCOA & Luton Airport.
If you need electric plugs, there are some on the arrival hall on the pillars near the benches, close to the exit

Small enough that you will not have to queue long at security.
Hans CramerSeptember 29, 2019It takes forever for the bags to come out. I was standing there 1 hour for the bags, same as the flights from before me. It takes the joy out of flying and it makes you only angry at waiting at that.
Marvel at the dystopian possibilities of the digitally projected staff.
Like this tip if Luton airport should ban Ryan Air for being airline pirates!
Mark IronManRecordsAugust 26, 2010If you have 30 bags to get into terminal building, go to delivery barrier and press the intercom. If you reason with the "highly trained staff" they will open the barrier and let you in to drop off

There's one good thing about this airport: hopefully, you're leaving soon.
Buy your food from M & S in landside it's cheaper and certainly a lot nicer than aircraft food!

Bjarke KSeptember 30, 2018Super unprofessional, unhelpful and passive-aggressive airport security guy at the security check today. Even his boss was incompetent an not able to solve the situation his bad employee started.
If you are flying out, make sure you check-in with Foursquare and ask for £5 off in Duty Free shop (if you spend over £35).
Always busy and always horrible long queues... I have landed about half an hour ago and still stuck on the plane waiting on member of staff to open the gate so that we can leave the plane?!

I have absolutely no idea why it is so fashionable to abhor this airport, though it is not anyhow worse than Stansted. Poor Luton, you do your very best, and I really appreciate it.

Manda PandaAugust 7, 2016Worst airport ever - difficult to access from central London, flights unreliable, bad customs service. Don't fly from here, worthwhile paying more for a ticket to fly anywhere but here.
Go for Fast security check. Its 3£ but you wont regret! Otherwise this airport is a joke!
EasyJet, quick small and fast. Security queues are managed well.
What a drab airport...not a good experience if it's your first time in the UK. Fly to Heathrow it's so much more convenient.
