Priority pass is now £4 but well worth it. Avoid the huge wait at security.
Ian JefferyNovember 19, 2012Appalling airport. Long stay car park 5 min drive. Waited 45 mins for the bus there and missed flight. Advertised 10-15 min intervals. Use Stansted is my advice.

Jānis BukšsOctober 31, 2020Security control disallowed to have a tiny(50ml) snowball in hand luggage claiming that the item has no approved reference of liquid volume. Asking what is “approved”, the woman refused to reply! WTF
A terrible airport that lets you pay to relieve some of the more terrible parts. Always get priority security and _always_ take note of the name of the security attendants.

This airport is fit only for cattle, so be prepared for rude staff, massive queued and unmanned counters. £3 for the Priority Lane will be the best money you'll ever spend.

Kristian JohnsonDecember 17, 2014Really poor for departures. Staff unfriendly and way to gates is unclear (left after security, across then diagonal when you get the the end of the shopping area). For security, leave 25mins minimum.

Security was a complete nightmare, totally inefficient. Then they told me my zip bag is too big and I had to buy a new one, which they didn't even use! What a rip off!
