Money exchange rate here is BAD. If you have debit/ATM card, you get better rate from cash machine in the city, looking for "Free Cash Withdrawal" sign. All train/bus ticket machines accept cards too.

Not half bad considering London's airports reputations! The only issues with LGW is its distance from the city (1h30+ drive at peak hours) and the throngs of people at check-in and security.

If you are boarding at gate number 47-49, you need to make at least 15 mins walk to reach to the point. So , make sure you have extra time for it.

I am not a big fan of this airport. The layout is very inconvenient where you have to take a bus to go to the terminal. Afterwards, you need to go through security again if it is a connecting flight.

New security lines upstairs in the southern terminal. Got through in 1:30 minutes, quite cool. Also FCC train from London Bridge was 10£/40min

Better than Heathrow for just getting to/from London. Good connections by train to London. You might save some money by taking the train to London Bridge instead of the Gatwick Express to Victoria.

New airport. Now it's incredibly harder get to Departures from the drop off point. It's level 2 (although the signs on the lift don't say so) and then follow the signs up and down for 20 minutes...
