- Daniel TantaleanMarch 20, 2014Great BBQ! Some of the best brisket I have had and the Pork ribs are also great.
- eFromDC of www.SocialAlerts.com www.SocialAlerts.comApril 16, 2011You're gonna laugh...but their Devil Eggs are AMAZING. The BBQ sauce on the wings is great as well. If you ever need some wings and are downtown / Chinatown? Make that happen...
- Sara HughesJuly 22, 2012I am from Austin, TX....I literally cried when I ate the sausage and brisket. It was like I was in Elgin. Top it off with some blue bell!
- Lisa HinchliffeDecember 10, 2014Appreciate the "chose your amount" for meat rather than massive portions. Great mac and cheese.
- Andrea EsquivelDecember 30, 2018Brisket and beer is great, if you want some desert try sweet potato pie
- Morgan ThomasDecember 12, 2014The ribs are huge! So 2-3 per person is enough. Expected more BBQ sauce and I kinda hate the whole "market" concept (why tip the waiter when I am getting my own food?). But the food was good.
- Hamed Negron-PerezAugust 17, 2013The music was good and the bourbon selection even better. With no cover charge it was very cool
- Jerry SmithApril 10, 2018Cornbread is amazing. Barbecue is probably the best I have had outside of Texas.
- SeanDecember 5, 2011The brisket is top notch. all the sides are solid. Great "Texas" atmosphere. Live bands every night. Never a cover.
- V.June 14, 2011As a visiting Texan, the food tastes like anything I've has at home. Get the mac and cheese, it's delicious! And they have dr. pepper, best.
- Chad RJune 15, 2011Moist beef brisket, potato salad and corn pudding is the way to go. Grab a mason jar of iced tea while you're at it.
- They have Big Red made with sugar! I love the corn pudding, and you can't go wrong with the moist brisket.
- Moist brisket, Mac n cheese. Yum. Be careful with ribs though, the bones are heavier than they look! Could get pretty expensive pretty quick
- Qori Serrano A.September 26, 2016Sooo goooooooooooooodd!!!!!!!! Amazing! Died after my meal haha but lovedd it!!!
- John garciaApril 1, 2012This place ROCKS!!!!! Great Customer Service, They have a Great Team... The twins were the star of our group. LOL Rock ON!!!
- Michael LucasJanuary 24, 2013Live Band Karaoke every week! Also a great place for some authentic Texas food as well.
- Chris FredericksAugust 10, 2014Great food but pretty pricy. The market concept seems to nudge you toward getting too much food. Come hungry!!!
- The cakes are amazing, but gigantic. Make sure you save bough room! -- Also, Monday is all you can eat!
- Daniel NazarAugust 20, 2011Moist brisket, mac & cheese, sweet tea (or a cold Shiner), and Blue Bell ice cream for dessert. Y'all can thank me later.
- Chad MartinMarch 13, 2018Wasn't expecting to find a great BBQ place in DC, but Hill Country hit the spot
- Rita LassiterMarch 8, 2013Great beef brisket. The ribs are a bit salty for my taste; some might say it's just right. Corn pudding ? Meh. I've had a lot better. Good spot to eat if you're in the area for a an event at Verizon.
- Stacie VotawAugust 27, 2012Try the Pork BBQ sandwich - Tender, juicy, flavorful with a nice light kick in the red sauce.
- moist brisket, tender spare ribs and corn pudding with a nice cold Lone Star! This place is now a weekly stop for me!
- Josh CurrierMarch 31, 2012Great staff. Took a while for us to get our drinks and they give us all free desserts. Great BBQ joint.
- Bill GoekeJune 30, 2014Pretty sure I am now addicted to their cornbread with that amazing ancho honey butter. Can I have another?
- Andrea BurkeJuly 2, 2011Brisket lunch special, potato roll instead of white bread. Mix sides of mac&cheese and chili: not healthy but so delicious!
- Vijaya ThakurJanuary 3, 2012Don't forget to get a Bourbon Passport! Also, the blackberry cobbler blue bell ice cream is amazing.
- Dionne AJuly 22, 2011When crowded -sit at bar. Get your drink specials and get a meal ticket for food & bring back the bar. Avoid the long wait! ;)
- Ordering process is a little confusing the first time, but well worth it. Staff was helpful.
- get the "moist brisket" and prepare to be stuffed. 1/4 lb = ~4 thick cut slices. the beans were out of this world!
