    careful of homeless, usually very agressive as police can't touch them now. 4/5/6 train station not safe at nite.

    If traveling to Westchester for the weekend, leave Saturday morning - the station is less crowded and the trains are practically empty.

    If you don't want to take the stairs, there is an elevator to the side. 'Love that this place is NOT more popular!

    So beautiful! Trains are local so you have to go into Penn Station if you are coming from DC. Annoying since this is more central.

    Don't bother with breakfast inside the building, pop outside the main doors to Central Cafe instead, better value for money and much tastier :)

    Want to take the train downtown... would you also like a seat??? Then take the 6 train...it's not as fast as the 4 or 5 but it will get you there.

    Grand Central is one of the oldest US train stations still standing. Unequivocal beauty and amazing architecture. Even if you're not going anywhere go inside and just look around!

    Park in a nearby garage! Don't leave your car here, super expensive. The security guard is super nice though
