Michael RossiMarch 19, 2010Flying into Vancouver from the U.S and need to make a connection? Don't forget to pick up your bags. You have to manually check your bags when connecting.
If you come up here around noon you may be lucky enough to catch a rather good looking IT department having lunch.

It seems that US customs when departing doesn't open until 4:30. Even after using global entry or nexus you need to speak to an officer.

Very pleasant venue. Avoid checking bags inbound if you can as bag delivery is mysteriously slow. A Nexus card speeds immigration and customs.

Air Canada and WestJet really don't limit their carry on's when you fly domestic
Buy a pack of transit tickets and use AddFare and/or validate. Saves the $5 airport departure fee.

Alan ChangMay 23, 2014This is the worst airport that I have been to, it`s been an hour, and I am not even half way through security check point. There are 10 check points, but only ONE in use!
