    大正１０年に建てられた郵便局。寄棟屋根のヴォーリズ初期の貴重な建物。１９６１（昭和３６）年まで郵便事業をやっていたが、その後玄関部分が取り壊されていたとか。２００４（平成１６）年に地元のヴォーリズ建築保存再生運動を目指すNPO「一粒の会」によって再生されました。無料で見学できます。

    八幡郵便局として 1921 年に建てられた木造2階建の建物で、設計は W. M. ヴォーリズ。玄関や窓に設えられたアーチと、凹凸の仕上げが為された外壁が特徴的。
