Yes, the wifi is free, but it's a flaky connection. If you find you've lost the network, reconnect to wifi.

Chris TaylorFebruary 5, 2010Mobile check in is awesome on the iPhone (aircanada) but be aware that your gate # doesn't show up on your eticket. You need to consult the display boards to see where you're leaving from!
Good airport but make sure you leave plenty of time to make it through security.
Gate D Terminal 1 has a downstairs security lineup. No line on the busiest travel day of the year=win
What can I say? It's an airport. Pretty nice looking, ample seating etc.

Valu park is the way to go! Just a quick train from there gets you to any of the terminals.
Literally one of the most expensive airports in the world for planes to land at and as a result, those costs are passed down to you. This airport is almost guaranteed to have the most expensive flight

If you're catching a taxi, pick your lines wisely. Walk down the arrivals sidewalk outside and pick the shortest line. For some reason everyone converges at one place!

There's now a GoodLife Fitness in Terminal 1, just in case you didn't already feel fat in your vacation bikini...
Look up!!!!! See the big birds taking off and landing. If you're lucky you might see the A380.
The new offsite covered parking (I think it is called Viscount) is excellent, with a train that takes you to the terminal.

I had to manage a security officer to sneak into the luggage area from outside. It's a messy maze.

Be aware of the relocated rental car return entrance; the new exit sneaks up on you quickly.
