    Nexus members - there is now a security lane for Nexus card holders. And if you're traveling with somebody, they can use the lane too.

    If you want access to the lounge remember your card, unless you are traveling with AC. Their computer system or incompetent personal can't look you up!

    Terminal 3 flyers beware: one of the gates is under construction so they have been funneling 3 gates into 2 making for really long security lineups

    If flying to the US, give yourself plenty of time for customs preclearance. Also, food/drink choices are limited in the secure area.

    If you rush to your gate before they call your row, you are not doing anyone a service. All you accomplish is the feat of slowing down boarding and pissing everyone else off.

    If you're going to the US with baggage check in, you better come early. They combine all US destinations in one lane. Long wait!!

    Travelling home from the US with a connection in YYZ? Consider a longer connection - customs & baggage re-claim system adds extra time & confusion to an already confusing and poorly designed terminal.

    Not a ton of selections for food. I like the paninis and chef salad right after customs and duty free is the same inside + out but cute cheap T-shirts in newspaper/magazine store :)

    Tip for surviving the worst airport: embrace premeditatio malorum, the practice of considering future evils. Plan on 2hr delay and missed connection. Then, when it's only a 1hr delay, life is good.
