The best time to come here? The day before Thanksgiving. Nearly empty plus the leaves in Central Park are at their peak-fallness.

If you want to see the sunset, go about an hour and a half before so you can be up to the top in time for the action.

"Professional" Kodak pics are 2 for $30. Not TOO bad and they're great souvenirs. Don't have to worry about asking randoms to take the pics and getting bad angles etc. Read more

The view was nice. The staff screamed at us to keep moving. We did not get to read the walls or watch the films on the history of the building. KEEP MOVING! Very annoying. Not worth $40.

Staff like something from Fawlty Towers! Disorganised, flustered, constantly flapping. Good view but Empire State was better. Would be worth visiting at night for pics of Empire State illuminated.
