Go upstairs. The cocktails are world-class and the menu is a piece of art. Laid-back pub feel makes it accessible.
I highly recommend this place. Increadible cask ale. My favorite cocktail is the Old Mule Skinner.
s vJuly 13, 2017Parlour upstairs opens at 5pm...if you don't ask for it, they'll shuffle you into the ground floor taproom. Not bad option, but different experience. You'll get a buzzer to wait for the parlor anyway

They've won a ton of awards for their cocktails, and for good reason. It's a more intimate experience upstairs, you just have to wait for a seat.

Skip the first floor bar and go straight to the parlor upstairs. Enjoy a complimentary shot while you go through their extensive menu.

Staff is lovely, decor is terrifically turn-of-the-century NY and the cocktails are delicious.
