- ChettaMarch 11, 2014Inside of hotel has seating for stump town customers. Dark underground feel. Couches and tables for computer work. Charming. Great to get work done
- Get a seat with an outlet and charge your phone/laptop. There are outlets along the wall to the left - not only at the table in the middle. And yes, they do make the perfect latte.
- MonikaNovember 24, 2014Great coffee. They have also soy and almond milk. One of my fav coffee spots in the area.
- StudentNovember 12, 2018Love Stumptown coffee roaster,as always delicious coffee and great atmosphere and service
- I just love when my coffee is made with love by a hot hipster barista. If you like latte art, they do that here too.
- chris torrensMay 25, 2012Macchiato will cure whatever ails you. Amazing sandwiches right around the corner. Head west out of Ace and make a left at the corner. Right past Opening Ceremony.
- Peter NetoJune 6, 2017I love the coffee here, it is truly top-notch. However, the last time I was here the almond croissant 🥐 was awful.
- Daron YondemJanuary 16, 2015Best espresso in NYC. Love it. Wish they had some seating area except the hippy ace hotel lounge.
- Village VoiceNovember 14, 2011Winner of Best New Coffeehouse in the Village Voice 2011 Best Of issue! Grab yourself one of their bottled iced coffees and plant yourself in the hotel lobby.

- Louis BruscoMay 28, 2012Pour your Red Hook–brewed and –bottled house-blend Stubby ($4 for 10.5 ounces) over ice, or swig it straight from the bottle for a toasty chocolate bite with hints of ripened cherry.
- Mark PetkovicAugust 26, 2013If your Aussie going to NYC- This is just like a good cuppa like home- walk in the back lounge area - very early 1900's so glam
- usually nothing short of a massive line, with prickly baristas (i know, shocking). worth waiting if you're going to work in Ace lobby afterwards. otherwise there's plenty of good coffee elsewhere.
- Real coffee straight from the source! Experienced baristas. Just what you look for in a top quality coffeeshop!
- Amy CummingsFebruary 27, 2017Great coffee. Be sure to take your coffee into the Ace Hotel Lobby for more workspace.
- Everything is really good, the staff is really friendly and knowledgeable, and the scene is super cool. Only downside is the long line to get your fix.
- MetroFocusNovember 9, 2011Grab a coffee and relax in the comfortable chairs at the Ace Hotel as recommended by city council speaker Christine Quinn. Read more about Council speaker Quinn’s favorite coffee spot on MetroFocus. Read more
- MischaMay 7, 2015Get your latte with some pana and go to the back to what I think is the lobby of the Ace hotel...enjoy
- Come early to avoid the queue, and get espresso, it's good and fast. The apple juice is also incredible
- SSeptember 19, 2014There seems to be a queue throughout the day but it moves along quickly. Get the cappuccino.
- Hotel TonightApril 5, 2011The best coffee in the neighborhood (one of the best in the city) and a great opportunity to get a taste of the uber-hip Ace Hotel.
- Sven LenaertsOctober 5, 2016Ideally, you pass by this place and get yourself a flat white prior to relaxing in the Ace Hotel lobby.
- my favorite coffee in all of new york city (from portland!) it tastes so clean and gives me that extra boosts that most coffees lack nowadays. everyone needs to try this joint and get addicted.

- Cihan YılmazMarch 12, 2012Grab a coffee from Stumptown and spend an hour in Ace Hotel lobby. This should definetely make your day. Also they got some cool merchandise.
- Mariko NakataniMay 18, 2013No almond milk, but they do have rice milk. Cold brew with rice milk is incredible (for all you lactose & soy intolerant folks)!
- ibragim goesjenovOctober 20, 2014Good coffee, but you can't sit in the bar. When I was visiting the lounge was occupied so I had drink my coffee standing - doesn't change anything about the coffee obviously.
- prima filiOctober 27, 2015Nice strong flat white but no seating unless you try to venture into the Ace hotel lobby which is full of hipster laptopistas without desk space, there for hours.
- Mike JohnsonJuly 20, 2017A good place to grab a cup of joe and act like your important in the hotel lobby. Bring a fancy hat.
- Denis AnisimovDecember 6, 2014Huge selection of excellent single origin coffee. Friendly staff and a cozy place.

- The only pre-7 am stellar coffee option in all of Manhattan and possibly the East Coast.
- Nate BeattyApril 14, 2015Highly recommend the cold brew on tap. Slightly carbonated, perfectly refreshing.
- Aaron MoyMarch 21, 2013Their "drip" coffee is from a pressurized container. Wish they did it to order like Philz and many of the coffee shops in SF.
- Misteriosa von KabulistanSeptember 1, 2013Try the hair bender and the black sesame tristar bread. Great seating area the adjacent hotel with free wifi.
- Elie BleierJune 4, 2014Good coffee, better beans. Fun pastries. Head over to the Ace for couches and WiFi (and maybe a burger).
- Valerie TysonMarch 23, 2013Hands down the best coffee I have ever had. It's cash only so come prepared or stop by the ATM in the Ace Hotel Lobby.
