The View bar is great, but is a publicly accessible bar. The hotel itself has gone downhill massively. Stayed there 3 times now, it's so busy now that the staff are rude, condescending & arrogant.

IMHO-This is the no-brainer 1st choice Marriot if you're staying in the Financial District of San Francisco. The View on the 39th fl is a must!

To save money, you can eat at Mel's Drive In Diner at corner, Starbucks down 4th St is cheaper than hotel, stores, pharmacy and other less expensive shopping options are very nearby.

The bar on the top floor has good views. But i'd still recommend the bar at the top of the mark. The Mark Hopkins.

Food and refreshment on the room are on sensors - if you take them out of the fridge, it will automatically charge you.

The View Lounge doesn't open until 4pm everyday. You can't even go up to the top floor until then.

It's pretty meh. Location is okay but calling an Uber and Lyft is borderline impossible because of the way traffic flows around the entrance. Such a pain.
