Delicious, and really cheap. One of my fave quick bites in the city. Try the sesame pancake with duck.
Maybe a bit more unusual, but very good and authentic. Try the cold-skin noodles (A1) and the spicy lamb burger (B2).

Pretty trendy but low-key cocktail bar. No menu, you basically throw a type of liquor and some adjectives to the bartender and see what he comes up with. Also has a nice backyard.
Used to be a super chill dive bar, but somehow got popular lately. You’ll be fine if you go on a weeknight. Cheap, fun vibe, and pretty decent grub.

Oldest bar in NY. Only serves their own beer, in two varieties (dark or light), two beers at a time. Gets insane on weekend nights, but pretty fun for a quick drink.
I go here like once every two weeks. It’s just a halal food cart, but the chicken & lamb on rice is off the chain and super cheap. Highly recommend you stop by if in the area

If karaoke is your thing, try this place. BYOB and cheap. Stayed here a few nights until 7:30am.
This might seem weird, but if you go into this La Quinta and take the elevator to the top, there’s a decent rooftop bar with a rad view of the Empire State Building.
Great French steakhouse. No menu, you only choose how you want your steak cooked and they do the rest.
Best pizza in NYC (maybe the world?). Best place to stop after walking across the bridge.
Go here if you wanna get turnt up and dance to rap music on Friday/Saturday night. Really diverse crowd and always a lot of fun. Restaurant during the day (never been tho)
This place is really cool and spacious, with a super chill tropical vibe. Great cocktails and tons of fun.
Kind of a long trip, but a really nice museum of medieval and religious artifacts. They basically transported an entire European monastery to NYC on a boat. Only go if there’s nice weather outside.

Walk across the bridge over to Brooklyn for delicious pizza and a great view of the Manhattan skyline.
Highly recommended. You could go half a dozen times and never see it all. PRO TIP: You can pay any price to enter. The admission prices they display are suggested.
One of my fave museums. It’s kind of far away in Queens, but has really great exhibitions on movies, pop culture, technology, and interactive media.
This is basically part of NYU, so there’s always a ton of activities going on here. It’s a nice place to sit and people watch.
Kind of kitschy, but a fun place to hang. Get the sangria pitcher. Waiters are really rude, but it's kinda funny.
Pretty cool beer hall. Huge on the inside. Get a liter of dunkel, and try the sausages!
