A great cheap place to get yummy steak frites. I love the concept of no menu, with a salad to start and then a full plate of fries and steak with a special sauce, and then refills!
They do one thing but they do it well, I could eat these steak frites forever. Have a glass of the house red and follow it up with a meringue-heavy dessert for ultimate Frenchness.
Amazing steak frites and a bistrosalad with Dijonvinaigrette. Only item, but best steak value around for $30 pp. 2 portions, great wine especially made for them, fantastic creme brûlée!
Was amazing. I like my meat to be well-done steak and I was scared how it's going to taste like but it was so delicious 👍🏻 just the way I wanted. I really recommend it.
Walk-in only. It has its unique steak sauce. After the first portion of the steak, they will put you in the second portion. There’s no butter for the bread, but they give you an olive oil if you ask.
Been here a bunch of times, & I always love it. Nothing life changing, but the food/ambiance/service are good. It may seem basic to some, but I love their steak with the sauce. Profiteroles are BOMB!
Fantastic establishment. Prix fixe steak frites and a salad to start. The mustardvinaigrette on the salad is incredible and the steak sauce is even better.
Most efficient steak frites in the city. Just write an "M" on your table and an amazing mediumsteak frites will arrive. If no one is looking, write "MM" and enjoy
Very good steak frites and saladprix fixe for $27. Their house Bordeaux is quite good (and affordable) at $11.50 for a half carafe. Feels almost like being in Paris:-)
Tasting Table Top10 Steak Frites: "Trimmed Entrecôtesteak 'Porte Maillot' with its famous sauce " one main on the menu, this Parisian chain... Servers keep rosy sliced steak warm over little burners
The meat is slightly kinda different than what i used to taste in Paris and London. It was dry a little bit. The sauce is alright. The service is perfect as always
Go for small salad, steak with THE sauce, and fries. That is the menu for this restaurant. So no vegetarians. Bottle a wine for $21. For dessert, profiteroles. Just like the L'Entrecote in Paris!
The house Bordeaux is very drinkable. Brush up on yr French wine types if you plan to order anything else. Sauce on steak grows on you--quickly. Really buttery but hard to decipher. Yum.
