Long layover? Go to the Mall of America, about 15 minutes away on the blue line light rail. Better restaurants and lots of stores.

Great eating bar in the food court with power. Make sure and buy a mini power strip so if the plugs are full you can piggy back on someone else.

Be prepared to walk a lot! Getting around between terminals and even between gates will have you wearing out your shoes! The rail shuttle helps but only so much.

45 min from car rental to security! For Southwest (Term 2), u need to take light rail, not tram! Allow time.

Rental Cars are near G concourse; look for the alternate-short cut to get to Gates G instead of the tram.

If you’re unable to select the middle seat when booking your flight, do not book that flight. The flight is most likely oversold which could make for an unwanted adventure when take-off time comes.

Get your food in the food court between terminals. There are limited selections once you enter the concourse areas-especially in Concourse F!
