- AP du PlessisAugust 2, 2017This is by far the best and most well-stocked airport I've been to in America - and I've been to plenty. There's a coffee bean brewery, food trucks, driving range - not your average American airport.Upvoted 1 week ago
- To find the secret observation deck, enter Concourse D and walk past the Quiznos and Northern Lights Grill. Take the stairs up on your left. The deck is usually deserted. Enjoy!Upvoted 3 weeks ago
- Samuel MingoNovember 25, 2015Concourse E is best for napping/sleeping. Ride the elevator across from "Meadows" up to the third floor, and enter the 'quiet' traveler area. Don't bother with the airline clubs as they are small.Upvoted 1 week ago
- New water dispenser by gate F10 is marvelous! No need to buy water - just bring your own bottle. And this (filter) water tastes wonderful (worlds better than the MSP drinking fountains)!Upvoted Oct 7
- Good airport with tons of connections especially if you’re flying Delta. I prefer to travel through here over Chicago when connecting in the Midwest as flights are usually always on schedule.Upvoted Sep 22
- Delta's Concourse G may be the best airport terminal in America. Wait for your flight with a complimentary iPad to order drinks from.
- bb judyJanuary 19, 2015Ive been to many airports in the U.S. and this one is fancy! Very nice restaurants , salad bars, and a variety of healthy choices nSht! Nice airport to have a lay over in. I'm sad my layover is short
- Check out the observation deck for a quiet view of take-offs and landings. Located just inside the entrance to concourse D.
- Go see Emile between terminal D and E for the best shoe shine of your life. This guy did wonders for my tan lace ups.
- Angelisima C ANovember 30, 2013Concourse G is awesome. Plenty of seats with available iPads for free. And there's a mini bar. Enjoy!
- Jen22201March 29, 2013Check out Concourse G (gates 1-6). Every seat has an iPad free to use - in all the waiting areas and all of the restaurants.
- The bathroom doors swing outwards! No more climbing over the toilet and you bags to open and close the door! Ladies! This is amazing! Thank you to whoever (probably a woman) designed it!
- Probably the best airport in the US. Can't speak for Terminal 2, but Terminal 1 (most airlines incl. Delta/United/American) is fantastic. Great food options, clean, easy to navigate!
- One of my favorite airports in the U.S. Grab a Caribou coffee and visit the Minnesota store. Very tech savvy with iPads in most of the restaurants. So many stores...Uffda!...don't miss your flight!
- Excellent Waiting areas! iPads to use for free! Place to plug in and power up and very relaxing atmosphere!

- Amanda FerrellNovember 7, 2016An amazing airport. The iPads at each seat throughout the airport were very convenient. We were able to order food from wherever we chose to sit.
- Terminal G seems to have taken inspiration from Las Vegas, New Orleans, and Savannah in allowing open containers throughout the terminal. Grab a beer and wander around
- Jeremy BydlonOctober 12, 2018One of the best airports in the world honestly. Love the local food options like French Meadow and Holy Land and Red Cow.
- The team at #MSP is awesome and be kind to the #TSA and they’ll be just as great to you as well! I love traveling through this airport!
- Saint MatteoMarch 13, 2019Try Caribou Coffee. Pretty legit. Also the bathrooms are really clean and a nice selection of stores. You MUST get a moose shirt before leaving and try not to laugh looking at them. :)
- This may just be the best airport in the US. Certainly has the best food selection. I highly recommend the red cow, smack shack, and angel food bakery in terminal E.
- Karuana G.December 6, 2019These are the best ladies bathrooms in the country. Clean with plentiful places to hang your stuff. Impressive.
- This place is great if I'm flying out of Terminal 2. Security is quick and less people compared to Terminal 1. And yes, it makes sense because 1 has more flights, international.
- Cleanest airport, great shops & absolutely loved the Prince store. This is now my fav ! “Every day I feel is a blessing from God & I consider it a new beginning. Yeah, everything is beautiful.” #RIP
- Christiaan McPhersonJuly 29, 2013If your traveling with pets, don't leave the building to walk them. Go to Costomer service and they will give you a key to a private pet area so you don't have to go back through security. Wonderful!
- This is one of the top airports in the US. Always great restaurant choices and shopping. Well laid out, easy to get to. Delta lounge by gate F is great.
- Maxine LevineApril 20, 2016A really nice, clean and quiet airport. Lots of food choices and it's really easy to get from the airport to downtown Minneapolis- just hop on the blue line tram! Costs $3 and will make it in 25mins.
- Scott GartnerAugust 20, 2016Lots of power outlets, both wall power and usb! Restaurants are a bit expensive, but I haven't had any bad food. It's a very spread out airport, so don't feel shy flagging down an electric cart.
- One of the best airport in the US. Good restaurant & unique shopping options. Easy to maneuver & good seating areas.
- Racky RossAugust 22, 2015To all those dudes whining about missing Delta connections... do you know that you can choose a later flight, right? Book a connecting flight that leaves in just 30/40 minutes at your own risk idiots!
- Just used TSA Pre-Check for the first time, it's worth every penny. So much easier if traveling with electronics.Upvoted Oct 7
- People - if you're going thru TSA Pre you don't need to take shoes off, remove belts, take out laptops etc. it's amazing how many travelers don't know this and how few TSA agents say anything.
- The G gates areas are really relaxing, comfortable, and have healthy food options that are quick. The seating is clean and seats have tables with iPads and outlets. Great spot for a layover!
- One of the best airports! Grab pizza at Black Sheep, enjoy Smack Shack lobster rolls, or a Jucy Lucy at Blue Door pub!
- Come for the planes, stay for the retail! MSP does an amazing job of integrating retail and dining into the footpaths in a complementary way. It is just a fun place to walk around. And shop. And eat.
- My hometown airport but one of the best around. Lots to eat in the main concourse area once you are through security. Enjoy
- Men's Health MagAugust 3, 2014If you have time to sit and slurp, Andrew Zimmern suggests Shoyu’s pork ramen and platters of crab fried rice with XO sauce and a fried egg on top. Read more
- G terminal stripped of all chains and instead filled with fantastic, healthy local restaurants, microbrews, and Cibo Expresses. Surdyk's Flights in main terminal one of top 10 US airport destinations.
- Mika JainFebruary 13, 2015The Delta Lounge in Terminal F has fantastic staff, spacious seating, and plenty of vegetarian/meat food and snacks. WiFi also free.
- Surdyk's Flights was such a pleasant surprise tucked away in this Midwest airport! Amazing selection of wine, cheese and salumi. Will be the only place I eat at MSP on all future trips.
- Own this airport like a boss text 444-555 on your way to the airport to get real time alerts about parking. Don't let a few inches of snow fool you, your flight will still leave on time.
