Massively improved since Terminal 2 extension opened in 2019.
Darth ZannahJuly 24, 2017Worst airport in Europe I can remember. Narrow passages, absolutely no place at the Checkin desks on Terminal 1, people squeezed like chicken in a cage. Try to avoid, if you can.
The Starbucks also has a couple of plug sockets by the bench seats
A breeze today from check in and through security in less than 5 minutes.

This is not a good airport. Always delays with baggage. How can there be delays with loading baggage when it's the first flight out in the morning. Baggage always slow to come on to carousel.

Quite possibly the WORST airport I've ever been to! Airport security queues take forever, limited seating areas once you're through passport control. Sort it Manchester, shame on you!

DK FMarch 6, 2012Be sure to plan your toilet visit BEFORE going to the airport. I really don't believe the toilets here are cleaned on a regular basis. YUK!
HMV at terminal 1 has very helpful staff and the prices are excellent, often cheaper than online.
It's not a bad Airport but could be improved in many ways for Domestic flights
Terminal 2 is so nice....how have I never been through here?
