The queues are ridiculous. Blame bad management, or bad planning.
Not a lot is good here other when the flight takes off lol cheap, low quality airport that is badly designed and so so old and tired .

Some parts look very old. Airport needs a major refurbishment
1 hour for the security check in T3! The terminal is too small and overcrowded...

So so bad. Every time I pass through, I feel embarrassed to be from Manchester. Drama every time.

Terrible queues on Monday morning. The security queue goes all the way to the car park!

Epassport gates haven't been working for months. Pathetic.
"the food village" is a rip off! £9 for a baguette, crisps and a water.
Try getting your currency from the Travelex, usually really good rates- surprising for an airport. You can also reserve via the internet in advance.
This is the worst airport on the planet for baggage handling. It should not take 45 minutes from landing
One of the UK's worst airports for me. Notably they won't let you through security early, and it's the toughest security in the country... and therefore the slowest.

Security today a joke, over an hour to get through made my flight with 3 mins to gate closure. Worst I've ever seen it here.

Very good airport in all, well designed. Arrive super early though. Queues can get enormous by 8.15am for my usual US Airways check in
