Will come back strictly for the roasted chicken salad on top of a yogurt (with poppyseed and tarragon) and grain dressing. Definitely order sweet cheese carmant with blueberrysorbet for dessert.
There's NO PLATE anyone would not love. The more I go... The more I love their food. I do recommend to tell the waiters to let you finish ALL the food before bringing the next course.
Not always the best attitude but they do make some amazing coffee. They serve Stumptown coffee! Also, be sure to pick up a punch card. You get a free coffee after ten punches.
French onion soup with short ribs? If it was dripping with Gruyere on top it would have been perfect. With the little toast and small piece of cheese it was great.
Great quiche. Unfortunately all of the cafe tables are extremely wobbly. I've helped others try to fix them to no avail. Servers/staff (who appear too busy for me to ask) have never offered to help.
French reception. 20-300 pastry chef Jennifer Yee. Booking the private rooms requires a food and beverage minimum of $2,000 to $8,000. Dinner pricing starts at $95 per guest plus beverages and fees.

1 bread bowl is not enough for larger parties but you can curate assortments to your liking so the more the merrier from the superb bakery. Btw- Brisket burger medium rare is right on the $.
I'm a brunch fan. The fruit salad here is honestly the best I've ever had. Great pastries, tremendous bacon and sausage, and exotic fresh-squeezed juices. I'm a big fan.
Andrew Carmellini, the chef at Lafayette, is famous for creating restaurants that are scene-y, but which also serve food you will find yourself telling your friends about. A Voce, Dutch, Verde...
I'm not mad that I paid $5 for the butterscotchcoffeeeclair. I'm mad that I now need to rebudget my finances so that I can afford to buy one of these everyday until the day I die
Excellent service. The pâté is delicious, very generous with the pickles, and they weren't on the menu but our waiter gladly served us macarons from their bakery section for dessert.
You might feel like you’re in Paris: everything here is a little better-looking than you’re used to, the food coming out of the kitchen is traditional but expertly prepared.
Would be a toss up between Lafayette and Upland for perfect place to bring your parents in a cold winter night. Try and grab a corner booth by the window.
The spaghettinicoise is fantastic. The quinoa side is also stellar. Sommelier was extremely helpful with navigating through the sizable French wine list.
Tasking Table says: Andrew Carmellini (The Dutch and Locanda Verde) 150-seat Southern French bistro... bakery, rotisserie, and steak frites with béarnaise butter.
Tremendously Salty. Like most big chefrestaurants the food is prepared by line cooks. Stewedcognacoatmeal is good. They have almond milk! Food is good but need to not salt meat, fish etc.
The beef brisket burger was average. There was nothing special about it. While the onionsoup looked spectacular it was also nothing out of the ordinary. The almond croissant however was amazing!!!
