If you are looking to get a Saudi mobile number (SIM) - your options are Zain that is at International Arrivals (to your left as you go out) or STC at Concourse 2 (quite a walk after you take a right)
Nice old airport, development are possible but needs a good designs.
The airport is witnessing tremendous improvements to its services and facilities. With the new domestic terminal the international terminals is improving noticably in all aspects. Way to go RAC!

Upvoted 3 weeks ago- Reputable, safe and good taxi services are London Taxi or Saptco - you can get them in the terminal or outside. Good rates too. Don't take up the offers of those who whisper 'taxi' as you go out!

No long waiting line for taxi.- Getting through the renovated passport control is actually a much faster and a more pleasant experience than before ... Regardless if the hall still looks packed like this!

Today was rare @international terminal for Saudi, they were welcoming all the people coming with smiles. All dressed in civilian clothes.
This airport consists of 4Passenger terminals(only three in use)with eight aero-bridges each, Mosque, Car parking fo 11,600Vehicles, Royal terminal, Central control tower & 2 parallel runways.
Come early and know the gate of departure. Coming in at least 2 hours earlier for international flights (1 and a half hours for domestic flights) is a good idea.

Buy foods from outside. Everything is expensive inside the airport. A mineral water worth 1 sar outside is priced 5 sar at one of the shop inside the airport 😅

Philip LohJune 16, 2013For first timers, please be vigilant when getting a cab outside the airport. Make sure you take the white toyota car's the "taxi" sign on top. Dont go down to the car park to take an unofficial taxi!

If u have AMERICAN EXPRESS...Guess what!?!?!...I was surprised, in Terminal 2..u can't enter the VIP Lounge because u r traveling with Saudi Airlines, Different airlines( TerminaL 1 )..U can check in.
You can't believe it this is the best place on earth specially when you leave Leave Riyadh
Every trip, faster, friendlier, welcoming and like every thing else excellence in a Saudi prestigious style, bless you brothers!
