A truly authentic French Bisto nestled in the LES. Every night is live jazz playing adding to the classic ambiance of the place. The food is amazing & meticulously prepared to perfection. Bon Apetit!

Live jazz every night after 7pm. Everything on the menu is delicious for both dinner and brunch. The service is always great. This is one of my "go-tos" in the EV.

Dinner - jazz institution. Hankering for solid French bistro grub? Jules is consistently good. Could do with a renovation to freshen the place up. Adult crowd.

Maybe the last place in NYC where you can grab a drink and listen to solid jazz any night of the week - sans cover. Other suggestions welcome. Make sure to try the mushroom risotto.

Absolute personal favorite. There's always an open table somewhere, the Jazz provides the right mood, and the food does the rest. Go for the moules frites and the escargots.

Get the bottomless mimosa brunch special. They're great at refilling your glasses as soon as they're empty, making it totally worth it. Great music, too!

Serves up French classics in a rollicking, music-filled underground space. After a dozen oysters and a bottle of Sancerre, you’ll be lip-synching along to "Je t’aime, moi non plus" in no time. Read more

So good! the jazz was fun, but not overbearing, and the food was delish (I love when menus are small - makes it so much easier to decide, and you know they will do it well). Try and Eggs Antionette wi

Good place to dine with friends. The potato gratin that came with the filet mignon was amazing. All the rest was okay, although the onion sauce overpowered the meat. Great live music!

Just beer wine and sake licence but well executed. Nice cozy place. If you're calling for a table, make sure you request one upfront, where performances are, not in the back.
