Beware of Delta terminal 3. From the international area exit you have to go to area D at the domestic side to get picked up. It is a confusing, decrepit mess and they need to tear the terminal down.
If you are traveling rush hour into Manhattan - take the airtrain to LIRR (jamaica) - 25 min transit. Late night,depending on taxiline - take cab. If you're headed downtown, take Williamsburg bridge

Plan at least an extra half hour to ride the bus between B and C concourses and bring an umbrella. Bus transfer is not covered bNot efficient transfer service for Delta customers.
British airways counter is a mess. Got there 2 1/2 hrs early only to stand in line w/people waiting to checkin for earlier flight and board with 20 min left. Terminal 7 is smaller in comparison to T1.

There are not that many food kiosks around gates 30-40. Had to walk all the way to gate 12 for the food court. Thank god I had 3 hrs to spare. Otherwise I would've miss my flight trying to find food.
