- Christine LFebruary 13, 2017The brisket and bacon were incredibly tender, and the Vietnamese wings were on point 👌 And, don't forget the corn bread!
- Rasheda EdnessApril 12, 2016My buddy put me on to this spot and yes I enjoyed the food but it was way too heavy 4 me. I just can't eat like that anymore. Highly recommend if u r a big eater
- There is no doubt that this is the best BBQ in the entire city. It even smells right. If you buy a t-shirt you'll smell like a wood fire for a week.
- CITY GRITAugust 9, 2014Order like a pro - Brisket, Beef Ribs, Hot Links, Smoked Chicken Wings, Collards, Mac & Cheese, Cornbread and the Robicellis’s Chocolate Pudding Pie for dessert.
- Todd BBQDecember 8, 2013Just had the mist incredible BBQ beef rib possible in my life. Fall off the bone is just the beginning. The smoke flavor and Carmelites crispy end are just wonderful.

- Lyn HastingsSeptember 28, 2014The beef rib is like a prehistoric dinosaur bone dripping with juicy goodness. Great char on the outside. The coleslaw made a perfect combo. Totally worth the line!
- Rachel LandeMay 11, 2014Amaziness-food, atmosphere and live music. Brisket melts in your mouth and sides just as good. Wanted to try beef ribs, but ran out. Will be coming back.
- MariDecember 14, 2015Great brisket. Good spare ribs. Skip the sausage. If you like queso definitely get the Mac and cheese.
- Gracie SchamusSeptember 23, 2018Everything but the potato salad!! That was a bit strange for me. The Korean sticky ribs, the beans, everything was #1 in the history of barbecue for me:))
- F. BastardSeptember 20, 2019A tie with Hill Country for best brisket in the city. Succulent, smoky, and peppery. The pit beans with burnt ends are really good too!
- Brittany LannanMay 30, 2015Beef rib, pulled pork, brisket. Skip the chicken and coleslaw. Mac n cheese is pretty good too. Don't take too long to order at the bar or else the bartender will get sassy
- Russell HirschornJanuary 8, 2017Everything was good, nothing was wow. Spare ribs ok, brisket good, lamb belly unique. Collard greens and mac nice. The little service they offer was complete crap. Dont go out of your way.
- Nick TurbideAugust 3, 2018Don’t miss: lamb belly, brisket (every order comes with burnt ends 🤤), smoked wings, bbq beans, slaw and the cornbread with honey.
- First We FeastAugust 3, 2014Go on a Friday or Saturday night to catch live country-blues bands on stage while you prepare to do battle with a platter full of glistening meats. Read more
- Selom AApril 13, 2016The brisket and the lamb belly. Cornbread was nothing special...yet (just a recipe tweak ;)). Great array of sauces and love the musicians they book.

- Adam SmithAugust 19, 2016Order the brisket. Order the Italian sausage. Order the beans. Order the pickles. Order the slaw. Have a cold beer. Eat, drink, be happy.
- Kate FurmanJuly 20, 2015Try the brisket, pastrami bacon, and lamb belly. Get a side of whiskey pickles to cut the grease.
- Tasting TableSeptember 26, 2014Order the beef ribs. They are massive—extremely rich, pleasingly salty meat under a black cloak of pepper. Right down to the bone, the flavors of smoke are sweet and lush and long. Read more
- F. BastardDecember 9, 2019The lamb belly in the banh mi was tasty but so oily it drenched the bread in lamb fat; I couldn't finish it. Next time, I'll stick with the (excellent) brisket.
- What's Good HereMay 1, 2015Start with the brisket or spare ribs, but be sure to get a side of Texas Style Queso Mac & Cheese. Very rich and creamy.
- Lee SimpsonMay 2, 2017Everything here is amazing and the dudes that run the food counter are awesome. Jerk Ribs are worth a look and the brisket is aces.
- David BrahlerJuly 19, 2015Get the brisket, lamb belly, sticky ribs, collard greens, Mac and cheese, and beans.
- Brian AcevesMarch 1, 2019The best you can do for yourself is get two large orders of the Mac and Cheese. One is not enough. Even if you’re like “oh one’s enough”.
- Leah HammerschlagOctober 21, 2015The lamb Bahn mi is amazing, worth the trip. The brisket was good w sauce but I like Fette Sau's better. Wings are great too.
- The line from the top of the ramp is about a 45-50 min wait. So grab a beer my friend. Good things come to those who dream about BBQ

- Sonny KwokMarch 14, 2017The beef rib and brisket is why you're going all the way out there, but it's not for the faint of heart
- José DucósOctober 3, 2016The line moves slow but worth the wait. Be sure to ask for some bread slices with your meat. It's free!
- jake furstFebruary 6, 2015so dang good. ribs, brisket, mac, collards were all excellent. have one person wait in food line while other goes to the bar to get your dranks.
- Thomas MoJune 14, 2015Brisket was not as fatty as some other places, but the thick black crust was like no other place. Deserves it's spot as NYC's best brisket. Lamb belly was also good.
- Brian AcevesMarch 1, 2019The best thing you can do for yourself is get two orders of the Mac and Cheese. One is not enough. Even if you’re like “Oh, one’s plenty.”
- ChrîsApril 15, 2016The brisket, collard greens, mac and cheese. Delish cornbear and sriracha wings. Grab a bloody mary. Your clothes will wreak of smoke FYI.
- EdAugust 20, 2017This is the best beef ribs in New York had to take a bite out of it before my picture
- Dan PyatetskyOctober 29, 2019Everything is great, but the unexpected favorites are lamb belly and Oaxacan chicken. Obviously get brisket/ribs/beef rib too.
- Kelsey✨April 24, 2017The line can be intimidating, but grab a drink (or 2) from the bar and stick it out. The brisket is worth the wait
- Alex PyatetskyJuly 17, 2017On a national scale, 8/10. All meats done well - texture, bark, smokiness, etc. Complaint = sauces. All too sweet. No proper vinegar option. Sauce dep't reminds of American Chinese food at times.
- Super moist brisket, awesome beef rib and tasty sides. Great atmosphere for chilling with some 'cue and beer.
- Martin JonassonMay 30, 2019Amazing BBQ and be ready to queue for it. Try brisket, ribs, potato salad, cornbread and mac & cheese.
- MarcJuly 28, 2014TT Top Jerk Chicken: Half a rack of tender oak-smoked baby-back ribs that have soaked up a hot and sweet jerk marinade ($15). They're finished on charcoal
- Boris BaldingerApril 26, 2014This is the most awesome BBQ place I have been so far. Hard to get to from Manhatten, but totally worth it. The. Eef rips are just yum!
- Brooklyn bbq joints are highly overrated, but not this place. Their beef rib, which came out of a dinosaur, is delicious. Debating pork belly or pulled pork? Pulled pork is the better option. Enjoy
- MissKris 🎀 1011July 19, 2014This place is for sure better than dinosaur BBQ. The Mac n Cheeseis awesome and the siracha wings are amazing. The jerk ribs are perfect!!!
