Cab to the city is 25-30EUR and s-bahn around 3EUR. Both convenient.

There is not much choice of food and drinks behind security. There is nothing much behind security at all really.

If you want to travel to Kiel take the airport shuttle "Kielius" in front of Terminal 2
Don't try to get guests with other airline boarding cards into the lounge. They'll kick you out, even with gold status. Customer loyalty benchmark #fail
