Concourse B fucking blows!! No train from the rental car station, and you have the choice for Zatarain's for food (waiting for 45min) or you can eat shit (ie overpriced hot dogs from a street vendor)
Concourse C has little worth eating—an employee at the Zatarain's literally told me nothing was good. Don't expect to survive on anything but water & snacks, sprinkled with gross fatty southern fare.
Take advantage of the wide choice of coffees at the airport (bad to worse) by buying your morning coffee elsewhere, before you get to the airport. In particular, stay away from PJ.
Great experience with American and Southwest though! United ticket desk is horrible here. Do not expect help, compassion or anything other than Very unhappy folks who do not really like their jobs.
There are no places to eat after your concourse check in. Also be prepaired to say by to loved ones early bc security is done before you can get to your concourse. Lame!
