- Bryant CarterMay 8, 2012When checking in at concourse B, choose the left line. The one on the right looks shorter but it wraps around. The left is a straight shot.
- Terminal D is really nice and Wow Cafe has a great veggie burger. So stupid they're wasting tax payer money to build a new airport.

- Don't go 5hrs early this is not you typical busy Airport! Also ask for the secret vending machine by the bookstore if you're looking for a snack or a drink! ;)
- David Orland BrownMarch 6, 2012Small airport but very friendly staff. You won't find free WiFi at any other airports, either. $33 cab ride from the French Quarter. NOLA!
- Security lines can be surprisingly long, especially after a heavy-tourist weekend. Don’t underestimate wait times.
- Apart from having one of the slowest TSA ID Check Lines, the baggage claim is surprisingly pretty fast and easy to get to, unlike other airports.
- If you are traveling Southwest and not checking bags - go to the right towards security and there are 4 self checkins - usually no lines!

- Chip HJune 28, 2011Just take a cab downtown if you're traveling w/someone. Downtown shuttle is $38 per person and will stop at several other hotels on the way. Cab fare for 2 is $33.
- Brent NewmanMay 21, 2011As of this date airport shuttle roundtrip to and from dtown = $38. Cab = $33 each way for first 2 people, $14 per additional person. Groups of 3 or more = cheaper in a cab. Van cabs available.
- Nice small airport. Could use some upgrades, but is easy to navigate.

- MuratSeptember 20, 2022Bright airport, looks like a shopping mall. Big enough, but easy to navigate and very passenger friendly. Could be busy at the weekends, expect long lines. 25min/35-40USD taxi ride away.
- Depending on your flight, you can get through TSA fairly quickly. TSAPrecheck is the best!

- Small airport, TSA line can be long early in morning, do not open exclusive line for premiere flyers at all times (if ever), despite being marked.
- Emily CorleyNovember 20, 2013wow, the people here must hate their jobs because they are absolutely miserable, esp at ticketing and security. if you don't want to deal with a lot of people, prob shouldn't work at a busy airport.
- Vegetarians: pack your lunch. Absolutely zero veggie options. Even all of the salads are pre made with meat.
- Make sure to pick up a Big Boy Gooey cake on your way outta town.

- Ted FrankNovember 4, 2013The bathrooms by the Lost & Found in Concourse C are a relic of the pre-9/11 security setup, get no foot traffic, and are much cleaner than typical airport bathrooms.
- For bottled bevs, the vending machines are a better deal than the concession stands #needmyfrappuccino
- Always a good experience at this airport. Security is normally pretty quick too

- Leah EJune 15, 2011Good airport... Small, very few long lines (compared to the big hubs). Every flight I've flown coming back in arrives early. Almost no New Orleans delays here! :)
