Purchase Fast Track online rather than at the airport's kiosk. Way cheaper...
Generally quiet but usually a long walk and or a bus ride when you arrive. Facilities at gates are poor so don’t go till you have too

Avoid the aerlingus lounge the Dublin airport lounge is right beside it. Same price with much better food and drink selection!

Oddly 5 am is peak time here. If you have an early flight leave plenty of time for security

Passport control and baggage checks are now on the LHS of the ground floor. They used to be over in the right hand corner.

Raffaele SgherriApril 11, 2013Forget taxis and go for the AirLink 747 bus. Same time to go downtown, convenient stops and just 6 euros for one way.
T2 is a godsend! T1 is ok but a lot more basic and expect early morning queues for checkin and security. Don't waste time on electronic passport check on arrival, they're hit and miss.

Heading for US? Prepare for 2 separate security checks, customs and a separate "precleared" area after that.

Free wifi in departures upstairs is quite good, good enough for working whilst waiting for the flight gate to come up.

ConnorJune 14, 2016Line for Checking your bag and security can be very long, leave yourself time. Connecting flights gates are a long walk from security.
Butlers chocolate cafe opposite the 300 gates serve the best coffee - with a free chocolate!
