- It's a rather big airport and has decent cafes and stores. However still leaves absolutely no impression or memories.

- Avoid the aerlingus lounge the Dublin airport lounge is right beside it. Same price with much better food and drink selection!

- Heading for US? Prepare for 2 separate security checks, customs and a separate "precleared" area after that.

- Free wifi in departures upstairs is quite good, good enough for working whilst waiting for the flight gate to come up.
- T2 is a godsend! T1 is ok but a lot more basic and expect early morning queues for checkin and security. Don't waste time on electronic passport check on arrival, they're hit and miss.

- Butlers chocolate cafe opposite the 300 gates serve the best coffee - with a free chocolate!
- Passport control and baggage checks are now on the LHS of the ground floor. They used to be over in the right hand corner.
