One of the best airports in the world. Gotta love the wi-fi or lie they call it WOW-FI!
Very nice airport. Annoying sometimes when you have to walk for hours to get to your flight. But otherwise, it's huge and has all the facilities that you can ask for at an airport. Probably much more

Be careful with ur connecting flight timings while traveling with Emirates it should be at least 2+ hours. Reason ur first flight may land at concourse A where ur 2nd flight can be from concourse C.
Andrew ColeSeptember 13, 2014If you're looking for somewhere quiet (to sleep, stretch etc) I found a little oasis in an empty wing of the airport - includes a plug point, washrooms and drinking fountain.
Don't forget to pick the VIP taxi service instead of the normal one.. There is not much difference between them. VIP taxi is more comfortable and clean. 30 to 50 dhs is the difference. Enjoy!

Fantastic airport. Great shopping and food (Shake Shack!). Free hotel room if you fly Emirates and have an 8+ hour layover.

Aika BarzhaxynovaJanuary 1, 2017Check-in line can be long even 2.5 hours before your flight. A3 Gate doesn't let you bring in a cup of coffee even if you bought it from gate area, all drinks you buy must be sealed b4 entering A3.
Melis ÇağlarMay 3It is quite big but not fascinating. In every floor and in each section they have duty free shops. Just use self check in if you want to save some time for shopping.
A great airport but sometimes the long walk is unnecessary. Always make sure your connecting flight is 2hrs apart.
Make sure you arrive 2 hrs before. The que might be long to enter the airport + the security screening.The distance from the check-in point to the gates terminal is quite far.Arrive early to enjoy it!
Daniel RoyJanuary 21, 2016The airport has three gate areas, A to C. Check the boards for transit times. Most of the shops are present in all three areas so no need to worry about missing shopping.
Fast and efficient. Good experience always. Airport looks like a mall ... stunning! Check out the electronics store unless you're going into Dubai (prices are better).

Huge and beautiful airport, check in is very far from the gate, pace yourself and leave ample time to window shop and buy last minute stuff
For long layovers, If you want a bath, there's a shower room near the A gates near sleep n' fly beside the coffee shop, you just need to bring your own towels and toiletries.- GigaApril 14, 2015Enjoy your free 30 minutes of Internet. Best wifi I had here so far is at Jack's Bar & Grill around A16. You don't have to order a JD though to get the generated code - they also have coffee ;-)
Book Marhaba service if you want quicker departure access through bag drop, immigration. Costs a little bit extra but worth it.
For me the best airport in the world! If you can get an e-gate card. It will save you the queues when you arrive or leave immigration.

It's easy to spend your time in this big and friendly airport - plenty of duty free shops and restaurants. Love the new terminal.
Dmitry IvashchenkoJuly 29, 2015Clean, big and good in general. Frankly speaking I expected much more from famous duty free, but it is jus combination of several shops selling same goods as everywhere. Wi-Fi is free only for 1 hour.
