One of the nicest airports...cool shopping area, restaurants and coffee places. Nothing beats the emirateslounges though..it's another world up there! Oh..and free wifi :)
Very convenient floor layout. Lots of shopping through the middle aisle! If you're tired and need a short nap, go to the outer aisles and u'll find some comfy laid-back seats for just that!
It's worth it to fly business / first class on Emirates coz the dedicated lounges on T3 are huge and well equipped with all the amenities a tired traveller needs.
Residents, passengers who can apply for on arrival visas and GCC locals can use the smart gate on the right and left sides, it takes me 15 seconds to pass the passport control section, no more queues!
The requisite starting point for every Dubai pilgrimage, Terminal 3 compliments the emirate's 'we-can-build-it-bigger-and-better-than-thou' philosophy. Restaurants and shops are all top notch.
One of the main reasons to keep on flying on Emirates when coming to dubai is this terminal, its never overcrowded and the services surpass the other terminals.
When going to terminal 1 take the free shuttle service that can be found on the departure side main road. Look for a white mini bus with valtrans logo on it. The ride will take you 3 mins. to be there
Be always ready to check your tax returns items before immigration. After security points, if your items are not fully checked, you'll not be able to refund all the tax 💔
If you ever have issues and you travel with a small air company that doesn't have a proper office desk, then ask anyone about DNATA as that entity will help you out
Soooooo crowded early morning - walk down the corridors by the windows. It's just too squashed and miserable down the main corridor; too many shops squeezed in...
Have to freaking pay 2 AED to weigh each piece of luggage! Just another way they want to suck out every penny from ya! And not enough seats in the departure pre check in area. Major dislike!!!
