One of the nicest airports...cool shopping area, restaurants and coffee places. Nothing beats the emirates lounges though..it's another world up there! Oh..and free wifi :)Upvote43Downvote

The main walkway through the shops is really busy. To get away from the crowds walk behind the shops there are less people moving around there.Upvote1Downvote
Residents, passengers who can apply for on arrival visas and GCC locals can use the smart gate on the right and left sides, it takes me 15 seconds to pass the passport control section, no more queues!Upvote2Downvote

When going to terminal 1 take the free shuttle service that can be found on the departure side main road. Look for a white mini bus with valtrans logo on it. The ride will take you 3 mins. to be thereUpvoteDownvote
