Best sandwiches in San Francisco? Definitely close. One sandwich is good for two meals. If you like tuna try the Fatty Matty: it has everything in it.- Great friendly workers, good salads as well as sandwiches! Get the cheesesteak if they have it!
If there's a line out the door, best bet is to get a salad, soup, or their special appetizers instead of a sandwich.
They need an alias for my usual custom combo: smoked brisket on Dutch crunch with muenster cheese, board sauce and lettuce

My new favorite: The Humberto is 2-meat spicy version of the Boca. The Jalapeños make all the difference.

The weekend-only bk breakfast sandwich is a beast - bacon, sausage patties, egg, cheese, and more bacon. Great hangover remedy
This is the best sandwich in SF. I recommend the $$$ and every other sandwich.
