A few highlights: The bulgogi beef sliders, the spicy glutinous rice cakes with pork sausages, and the bo ssam, braised pork with dehydrated kimchi and daikon wraps. Most dishes cost under $20. Read more
Whoa! Everything about this place makes me want to come back. Great service, cool room, amazing tapas-style dishes. Try the pork sliders, the tartare, the paella, and especially the calamari.
Tried their 3 courses menu during NYC restaurant week. The KFC chicken wings was ok, but their bibimbap was well presented and delicious! And their sesame ice cream is to die for.. sooooo gooood!!! 😋
Non-traditional, delicious Korean food in a cozy setting. The bulgogi beef sliders were very flavorful and the kimchi paella was perfect with the scrambled egg on top.
I usually judge a place in order of service, atmosphere, food, music taste, bathroom. In that order, Danji has won everything. Right down to the Korean Pear Cocktail.
Crowded and popular with very little waiting room. Get the mushroom "jook" porridge with truffle oil and the spicy pork belly sliders. Sliders are REALLY spicy but delicious. Cocktails are good too
Love this restaurant! Get the Tofu w/ ginger scallion dressing, Bulgogi beef sliders, spicy k.f.c wings and kimchi. All are delicious. You can order a bunch of small plates and share.
Honestly, I've searched far and wide and have finally found the BEST Shrimp & Scallion pancake in NYC or maybe EVER!! Sake sangria is a nice compliment too. Very quaint & cozy vibes.
You honestly cannot go wrong with any item on the menu. Sliders, wings, tofu, kimchi, short rib, hamachi Just eat and enjoy! Try their specialty cocktails, all good and unique. Sit at bar and have fun
A great combination of modern and traditional Korean fare that was flavorful and interesting. Izakaya-tapas style so great to go with others and share a variety of dishes. Just wish it was downtown!
I was here from the start - my friends & I are blurred out in the Grubstreet pic. I've had everything;all tasty. Hard to pic faves but the sliders, wings Bokkum bap (paella) & dduk boki are all great
the small dishes concept is perfect for dinner before a show or a quiet night out. kimchi rice, korean rice cakes, and bulgogi sliders were the crowd pleasers!
Delicious. Great for pre-theater but I would travel for this regardless. The best scallion pancake of my life - big, fat shrimp. Fried chicken a winner.
The mayor gets a drink comp upon arrival. Hells yeah. The food here is amazing, particularly any of the pork dishes and the Kimchi Fried Rice. Be prepared to wait for table; no reservations!
Tapas inspired Korean food. Make sure to include the: bulgogi sliders, kimchi paella, and short rib in your order. Bonus points for managing to create a romantic ambiance in HK.
This Korean place lost their Michelin star but has the best fried tofu and chicken wings I've ever had in my life. It's small but cozy and a good lunch spot.
Everything was amazing. Bulgogi sliders, KFC wings, whelk salad with buckwheat noodles, & paella with egg - all recommended. Along with the spicy ginger margarita which was spicy & strong!
This is some serious Korean food at a great price. The confit pork sliders will blow your mind. The tofu, calamari, whelk salad with buckwheat are all highly recommended.
Tofu salad with tofu crispy on outside and melt-in-your-mouth inside. Trio of kimchi with all standouts. The bulgogi beef sliders were perfect. And a Gruner and Zweigelt by the glass! Wow!
The menu is divvied into traditional & modern plates. Traditional dips into 'danji' braised short ribs with fingerlings & pearl onions; modern might look like spicy yellowtail sashimi. Both are great. Read more
Much nicer ambiance and decor and higher quality ingredients than your typical Korean restaurant makes this a great place to introduce non-Korean friends to Korean food
Really cool take on Korean food. Bulgogi sliders, kimchi bacon fried rice paella? Couldn't ask for better. Tapas style so get a bunch and share! (4 of 4 petals via Fondu) Read more
If you want to experience this place properly, don't look at the menu, just let the chef chose for you. Everything is great, but the tofu, sliders, sablefish, & short ribs stand out. Love this place.
Try the Scallion & Korean Pepper Pancake - just ur run of the mill kim chi pancake, but what i really dug was there pickled soy sauce...i damn near drank that sauce
Many items hv spicy elements. Paella more like rice on a heated stone plate. Leaf of Whelk Salad had distinctive bitter taste. Pork Belly Sliders tad bit greasy. Overall innovative menu. Reserve !
Tofu was amazing - gooey skin delicious. Bossam is braised pork in a cabbage wrap, also heavenly. Bulgogi sliders delectable. I would skip the chicken wangs.
Try the Tofu With Ginger Scallion Dressing - so first up on our 2nd excursion...fried tofu with panko and scallions...light, texturally perfect and delicious
It's rather cramped, but the food more than makes up for it. This place really deserves its Michelin star. Best dishes were the calamari and the sliders.
Food here is in a different league altogether. Everything I had was top notch and scrumptious. Good service. Expensive for me - Costs above $50 per person.
