- Mommy ShortsJanuary 2, 2011The wait for the weekend brunch is too long for a kid, but if you can swing it, go for lunch on a weekday. Their famous pancakes are served at all hours. Banana is best.
- Order a plate of blueberry pancakes for the table and a biscuit for the table. Get eggs with bacon and other deliciousness and you will be sad when the meal is over.

- Barton SmithApril 30, 2017So it wasn't bad food but it's not worthy of the #1 breakfast spot in NYC and definitely not worth the wait. Unfortunately most dishes were bland, including the blueberry pancakes and fried chicken.
- Lauren OosterlinckMay 7, 2010grits and pancakes are perfection. buut don't ask for extra syrup - they don't give you enough in the first place - lest you're prepared to pay an additional 2 bucks! shakes aren't the best-still love
- Jackie PoliMarch 7, 2014Believe the hype. But don't believe the description when it tells you credit cards are accepted. Cash only!
- Stephen YangDecember 21, 2012They give you mini pancakes while you wait to be seated. Winner winner chicken dinner.
- Definitely take advantage of February's pancake month! But their banana walnut pancakes are equally delicious. Hands down, best in NYC.
- Kate 💎 KolendaMarch 10, 2019The grits lacked a lot of (any?) salt and had too much corn starch. Top of biscuit came drowned in tomato sauce (“jam,” but lol). Cash-only during the day but they don’t have an ATM. No thanks.
- B SJune 26, 2018Hashbrown had no taste besides oil. Scones didn't really taste like anything, either. Pancakes were just fine. I wanted to like it, but I was left wondering why this is ranked #1 for LES breakfast.
- Jenina S.September 3, 2012Duh to the pancakes, but try the spinach cheddar muffin while you wait! Delicious.
- Try the Buttermilk Fried Chicken Sandwich - This chicken sandwich is the truth! Get it for brunch instead of dinner though
- Athena ChangMay 10, 2012Try the Blueberry Pancakes - Their Maple butter goes perfectly with blueberry pancakes!
- Soma AsapuMarch 2, 2012don't care if you get the beloved blueberry pancakes or not, but the must have here is the SUGAR-CURED BACON!

- Ronald WidhaOctober 21, 2016The chicken and waffle isn't what it's cracked up to be. Go Jacob's pickles instead
- ALMay 13, 2014Be wise how you ration the warm maple butter, there is a $2 charge for it if you want more.
- Alie JimenezFebruary 23, 2014Maine blueberry pancakes are incredible. Skip the Spanish scramble, not really much flavor there.
- Angela GlassSeptember 17, 2010Go early; it's tiny and always a wait, but so worth it for comfort food. Everything on the menu is recommended!
