Go to Blue Bottle at least three time. First get a simple espresso, second get a coffee from the Japan imported $20,000 vacuum coffee machine, third get the Kyoto style ice coffee.
Kyoto iced coffee is 'for here' only. Order one and take a load off.

The kitchen doesn't open until 8am on weekdays, so don't say I didn't warn you that you can't order the thick cut Acme toast until then.- Order any coffee here and you will never be disappointed.

Dave SJune 12, 2010The best iced coffee I've ever had. The Kyoto is strong and syrupy. The NOLA is sweeter. Neither need sugar.
If they're out of ice, just buy prepackaged New Orleans.
