- Gary BakerJune 27, 2011I am a coffee addict! and this is my favorite place to get a "cup of joe" in the City...although they would cringe at me describing their high end java with that phrase. Read more
- Probably one of the best coffee places in the country. Get a cappuccino. Be patient as the master baristas prepare you something that'll blow your mind.
- Ryan BiegaApril 5, 2013The poached eggs and toast are delicious. I always get the New Orleans Iced Coffee no matter what the weather is like.
- TillApril 12, 2015The coffee is delicious and so is the breakfast sandwich! (I had to counter the latter with a few antacids though :-/ ).
- Always a great cup of coffee. When they've got the "Three Africans" as coffee of the day, it's gonna be a very good day!
- S. J.July 28, 2012Delicious, down an alley, don't be scared even though it's in the Mission and the guy outside is freebasing crack. Best latte ever.

- herm pugayNovember 2, 2014The taste of the blue bottle latte and the pretzel bun. I keep coming back.
- Devin ElliotOctober 20, 2014New Orleans cold brew, get it burly and ask them for a larger size. Maybe one day they will start selling larger ones
- Gnat BrainOctober 25, 2016Known worldwide for their coffee but they have great snack options too. Love the granola.
- Libor M.September 13, 2017Coffee was delicious, this is true, but I think this is overhyped place. I do not like to wait in a long queue outside to get a coffee and simple toast...
- LenaSeptember 22, 2014Very hipster place, good coffee, reasonable prices, new way to present coffee ;)
- Best Belgium waffle in town, if 2 persons need extra strawberry one of them should order only which is enough for both

- Jason KorollSeptember 3, 2011I've had siphon pots before, and never liked them. And now I've had the best coffee of my life from the siphon bar here. So. Awesome.
- Try the Poached Eggs & Cornbread - Couldn't ask for a more perfect breakfast today... Well, except maybe if it had hollandaise too, but that's just being greedy..
- The New Orleans iced coffee is the nectar of the caffeine gods.
- c0uPJune 22, 2014Want to be especially douchey? Get the SG-120! In all seriousness, it's kinda great. Like a slightly taller Gibraltar.
- Andy MatuschakJune 1, 2014The siphon coffee is a wonderful treat. Pastries are intriguing. Brunch/lunch options are pretty good.
- Alex SimonJanuary 31, 2015Good pastries and breakfast too, surprisingly. I'm all about the NOLA iced coffee
- Lauren ColmanAugust 9, 2014Addicted to the New Orleans Iced Coffee. The best tasting stuff on earth.

- Pocket SunAugust 9, 2014Loved the Popeye Eggs for breakfast! There can be a line because the coffee is so good.
- YC LianSeptember 29, 2014Got a blend called "Giant Steps". Couldn't get the barista to explain much about the blend and the pouring (as I couldn't get a V60 and single-origin bean). Either too busy or snobbish.
- Siphon glass coffee makes you feel hip but get the SG-120 if you wanna be THE coffee snob 😛
- Dasha K. ⚾May 17, 2013If you don't wanna stand in a line go to Mo'z cafe just around the corner on 5th street. Great coffee and breakfast!
- Paul FarrellJuly 8, 2015Great for queue skipping as lots of folks go into the store to order take away and forget about here.
- Jane RadstromMarch 19, 2016Limited seating but they turn over quickly. Nice hot breakfast items, not hearty portions. Perfect for coffee and a bite that won't weigh you down.
- Paul NovareseMay 7, 2019The coffee here is fine. It’s really good, actually. But there are so many better places in SF.
