Craig Lane is THE cocktail creating genius. Sit at the bar, tell him what you like and he’ll whip up something magical. For the less adventurous, the Whiz Bang and the Brown Derby were both excellent
It is almost always possible to get a table here last minute, even if you are a larger group. Cocktails are great, and service is nice. Pro-tip: Great brunch on Sundays 10am-2pm (yes it is back!).
You might not find a better bar program in the city. Beautiful Sea Ranch in the City vibe. Good sand dabs when we were there. Love the tall strong rum drinks. Top notch whiskey sour.
It's called a Kentucky Buck and it's not on the menu. It's got bourbon and ginger and it's boozy and refreshing at the same time. Now go talk to your bartender...

Incredible cocktail selection and friendly bartenders make this a great spot to go before a show at Slim's. Try the house old fashioned. It's barrel aged!
Great bar with even better cocktails. The bartenders are really creative and love to revive old drinks into new exciting ones. Sit at the bar and learn something.

With more than a frisson of hipster in the air, Bar Agricole explores this lesser-known rum style with a swagger. Other delectable cocktails are served, as is small-plate, big-ticket food.
Amazing cocktail program: try the black tea sour - taste like a lemon meringue pie. And the house old fashioned is one of the best drinks I've had in the city.
The "California" version of Holland gin comes from St. George Spirits and stars in its Rye Gin Old Fashioned. For the cherry effect, Lane swears by the Leopold Bros. Maraschino from Colorado.

$15 cocktails? Steep. Huge space, nice bartenders, and not crowded. Same owners as Trou Nomad, so it's fancy food and expensive alcohol. price is all inclusive though, so it almost evens out.

I enjoy the decor and atmosphere. Cocktails are delicious and appetizers are tasty, but main dishes are so salty! Tried the monkey face eel and lamb chops- both were hella salty! Menu changes nightly.
Cocktails were very good. Food was ok. Burger is only the bun and very good meat with mustard - that's it. They are supplied by local dealers. Cool atmosphere and also includes outside seating.
Come here for the cocktails. The food is ok, but don't believe them when they say family size portions. The wine is expensive. Stick to the cocktails. The tequila fix is fantastic and spicy.
Local chef Traci des Jardins picks Bar Agricole as one of her favorite cocktail places in SF. Co-owner Thad Vogler told us "start with a Ti Punch and an Old Fashioned with some of our charcuterie."

Food and cocktails were superb. Service was friendly but cool and the meal felt very rushed. I wanted to enjoy the evening but items were coming out minutes after ordering.

Beautiful space, excellent service. Food is imaginative but all four of our party reckoned the chef was heavy handed with the salt. Still a great experience. Recommended.

There is different types of expensive, one is the well-whatever-its-super-good kind, the other one is the are-they-out-of-their-mind kind. This is the latter sort. Terrible ROI on food.
We've lushed over the Hot Castle Dip cocktail - now onto the food. Try the smoked black cod croquettes w/ packed wallop under their crust. The chopped liver on toast is a delight. Read more
Great cocktails! Food was pretty good (fresh & flavorful), but portions were pretty small and the check was pretty big...I would pass on this place again.
