In the middle of nowhere. Takes forever to get here from Milano. You may be better off staying at a nearby cheaphotel the night before an early flight.
It is one of the most complicated airports with no route signs. You can easily get a rude I DONT KNOW answer on the information desk and as usual shitty Alitalia service
Really confusing transfer to Air Italia flight. No one knows anything. Need to exit and queue to check-in desk. Transfer desks unmanned. Good thing that the flight was delayed...
Arrival was fine. Departure got stuck in the Flybe check-in queue for over 90 minutes. So not much time to get through security, duty free, passport control to the gate. Massive airport.
Internet is free for 15 minutes. But you can register multiple times using same mobile number but different email addresses every time after 15 minutes expire.
If you have VAT, tax forms, arrive early! Also, don't even think about purchasing small souvenirs at this airport, 20 euro for a small cheap stuffed animal.
2 badly connected terminals. If you have connecting flights you should have enough time between them. Be ready no one cares about your delay. Almost no English speaking personal
Our flight was more than 3 hours late so we were given vouchers to get food.. However, the food crew at McDo, MyChef, and Rossopomodoro are rude! They don’t want to answer questions and are snobbish!
If your flight starts at one of B-gates, do eat/drink/shop before passport control!!! It is a desert behind the control point, only stupid vending machine with terrible snacks :(
Remember not every facilites or services in the airport are free, for example it took u around 3 euro for renting the luggage cart. And i must admit that the toilets in the airport are awful.
