This is a scene. Maybe the scene. An opulent Spanish-style space with a bohemian air. Schnabels on the walls, celebs around the fireplace, outrageous cocktails. Come before 9pm to secure a table.
Get there around 7pm to avoid the reservation policy, and enjoy the $19 martinis and Warhol-covered walls.
This ultra-exclusive spot has so little interest in ordinary folks (that’s you and me) that you must request a reservation via e-mail if you want a drink after 9 p.m. (rosebar@gramercyparkhotel.com).
Skip waiting in line for the actual Rose Bar (which sadly seems to be filled with bridge and tunnel-ers) the bar right off the lobby is excellent and serves the same drinks in a similar atmosphere.
Dope nightlife, amazing cocktails, beautiful artwork! Be sure to arrive before 9 PM so you can guarantee admittance. Very strict door policy.
Fun 4 groups & dates, great svc (thx Amy!) & tasty & ok-priced Asian tapas, dim sum, sushi & hibachi. Loved Steam Soup Dumplings, Oink Oink Fried Rice & Taste of Asia cocktail! Worthy of repeat visit!
Pricey & slow svc but ambiance is worth it! My fave retreat to grab cocktails, lounge & play pool during Spring or Summer afternoons. ❤️ Philippe Starck-designed garden, library & glowing floors.
Great small tapas - a little on the pricey side but must haves: Rock shrimp, croquettas de jamon, and any selection of their jamon Serrano. Great underground spot with high quality cocktails
Love it!!!! Super athmosphere! Nice music! AMAZING food and excellent food quality. Please try the yellowtail sashimi with scallion and chipollote! Grilled jumbo prawns! Tuna tartar! Wild branzino!

Avocado Lobster is amazing!Our server Andrew, very knowledgeable of his menu. The food all around was stellar, the service was exceptional. You get what you pay for!!! We will go back for sure!
Teppan lobster brushed with ponzu and served with 9 sauces, mushrooms and shishito peppers & seared scallops sushi. Skip tuna sashimi with chilli. Shaved ice dessert between 2-4 & choc mousse
Servers are excellent - helpful with sake & menu recommendations. The food was great as well - had the lobster avocado salad, wagyu skirt steak, garlic rice, and sashimi - it was all excellent.
Pricey but an al fresco AYCE buffet HK fave of mine: zen atmosphere, poolside dining next to HK Harbor, & high-quality grilled meats, seafood & salad bar, & dessert station.
Underground speakeasy below the Rag Trader, and the true gem among the two. Live piano music and a long and very elaborate menu of delicious cocktails make it a great option, especially for this area.
New! (Approximately 2months old) great ambience and even better cocktails. Also has a piano bar downstairs but make sure to have reservations for it.
Great bar food: the secret paella and skirt steak is my fav. Infinite Wisdom for cocktails. Oh, and papas bravas!
This is what I love about NYC.. I was just in the same restaurant as Cindy Crawford & didn’t even notice she was ~10 ft away. Lol
Go during happy hour between 4-7pm! The atmosphere was very classy and there was live piano jazz.
Besides view, avg food+subpar svc didn’t equate to exorbitant prices, esp since we noted online (& VM’s) it was our 10TH WEDDING ANNI & THEY DID NOTHING TO MAKE IT SPECIAL. Our server even snubbed us!
If U must order food, get Short Rib Sliders (comes w/ great fries) & Heirloom Tomato-Burrata Salad. They’re better deals & tasted better than unrefined Peekatoe Crab Toast dish.
Pricey but great views & better deal than paying to go to the Top w/ tourists! For AM, ask for outdoor table facing CPK side. For sunset - PM, ask for indoor table facing ESB, esp when past 9:45pm.
Romantic and cool. Delicious food. Ate off special seasonal menu: Scallop with Kerri Kerri Croquettes and Korean short ribs. Dessert Tassa Famosa yum.
