The La Mer Benedict (read: crab benedict) everyone is mentioning is on the specials menu, not the main menu with the rest of the poached egg dishes. Order it, it's pretty great.
What can I say that hasn't already been said. There's reason why it's on so many brunch lists but miss the dinner either. Might be their best kept secret.
Love the gingerbread pancake with lemon curd & mimosa with elderberry. If you could bring the Bloody Mary from Finnergan's and mix it with Zazie's you'll be in business.
If you have a craving for pancakes, this is place to go! There's always a long line on the weekends for breakfast/brunch so come here early... or stop by during the week :)
Coffee cake was amazing as was the La Mer Eggs Benedict. There is a $1.25 benefits surcharge per person to provide full benefits for their staff!!! Love supporting those who support their employees.
The food is so good but the service last time was so horrible. This place was one of my favorites but it's been so downgraded. Try it if you are OK with hit or miss service.
delicious brunch... get the zazie tea, its $4.50 but you get a decent sized pot, id say 5 full tea cups worth. very much worth it, and i know my tea :)
come early for brunch! even at 850am there was a group of people forming a queue. gingerbread pancakes are nice and light, fluffy with just enough flavor. the pear sauce is a wonderful pairing.
Their bloodies aren't very good. The benedicts and the potatoes are fantastic. Spoiler alert: the potatoes have whole roasted garlic cloves. Super awesome.
One of Fiona’s favorite brunch spots, Zazie is known for their perfect Hollandaise sauce and to-die-for potatoes. The potatoes are fried with whole cloves of garlic! Yum.
Place is always packed out on weekends but I've walked right in for breakfast/brunch any day weekdays without a wait and with minimal baby carriage crowding.
