A really clean and well kept airport. Ignore the lounges and look for the calm seating area by the pond. The free wifi is decent too. Restaurants past check in are unfounded a refurb at the moment.

It's a beautiful airport and certainly impressive upon arrival - but I found there wasn't that much to write home about for an airport of its size during a wait for a flight.

Never arrive YVR at noon-1pm. Its like 15 flights landing at almost the same time. Lining up for immigration is like lining up for Space Mountain in Disneyland. 90 minutes at best #worstlineever

best airport on the continent by far.. EXCEPT worst baggage handlers perhaps in the world. average wait for luggage is 30+ minutes. i imagine the baggage handlers strive for YVR to fail. seems so.
