Rent a bike and cycle along the marina - if you want to stock up on snacks or get a bottle of wine, stop at Trader Joe's (have google map it out for you) - it's only a ten minute ride.

Love this hotel, we always stay here when we come to San Diego. The downside is the cost to get Internet in your room.

From the valet to the front desk to the cleaning crew...staff is great. Go to Tapatini in the Marina Tower during happy hour for the special wine and appetizer menu.

If you have a laptop, connect to the internet via the cable in your room first (free) and then you can add two wi-fi devices to the same connection

If you're going to the Bel Aire tower, don't park at the main hotel. Keep driving until you see a second tower. Unless it's a nice day for a long walk.

Didn't try any of the restaurants but did try a deli that was suggested to us by the concierge it was terrible. There is no where to go in walking distance to pick up any items you may need.

Be sure to leave extra time for the schlep from your guest room to conference activities. It's a long walk, but hey, people are healthy in California.

Stay somewhere else. Smells like B.O. and cheap aftershave. It's a dump. Avoid The Lanai section at all costs if you're forced to be here.
