Always carry a schedule to Summit. It is the a nice station with some upscale technology but it doesn't work & pay attention when you are upstairs. They do not announce trains coming into the station.

If you miss your train and need to kill some time, grab a cocktail in the back bar of the nearby Beacon Hill Tavern on (16 Beechwood Rd).

If the bathroom line is long, go to the Starbucks across the street, it's usually cleaner!

If you miss the last train to Penn Station, try the Hoboken train and take the Path into the city. Extra party time in Summit!
