It's full of details that make your commuting life easier. Power outlets everywhere for charging your electronic devices and gadgets, relaxing green spaces for taking a break or napping spaces 4 lg w8
Big & crowded, but cozy. Free Wifi all over the place. Nice shops, top brands, cafeterias with tasty German food. It's fun to fly from or through here.
Nice airport that has an excellent train connection to Munich city. 24h free WiFi. T2 is the nice terminal with free tea and coffee sponsored by Lufthansa.
Mid-size, very modern airport, about 30km from Munchen. Named after a conservative Bavarian politician. Second-busiest airport in Germany. Good hub for traveling to the west of Austria.
Heaven place! Free 24 hourWiFi for a sign up, free beverages, water (with organiclemon juice provided) near gates. Mini-library with cosy chairs and tables with socket/USB charges are here, too. 😍
See the Frauenkirche, the Alps and the whole city backdrop of Munich from a different angle. Take a spectacular guided tour on the rooftop of the world-famous Olympic Stadium! You’ll never forget it!
My favorite airport with efficient and quick transfers. Multiple lounges at good locations. Sometimes slow security check but with many in parallel. Good access to the city with public transport.
Such a beautiful airport. The new terminal is awesome. I love the bed-like seating, perfect for relaxing. Lots of power outlets everywhere. Nice shopping and food court. Plus, not gigantic.
Wifi, beverages, press for free. You can charge your devices almost anywhere. Toiletsclean, smoking lounges ventilated AF, duty free shops are probably the cheapest in EU & they have these chairs. ❤️
Much better and more convenient then Frankfurt as a connection to the world .The negative point on Munich airport is the big distance to downtown Munich .
Have your breakfast or lunch at the buffet in the central area just behind the local transport counter. Rich variety of fresh fruits and antipasti, also organic food available.
By far one of the best airports: free wifi for 24 hours, lots of places to sit with electric plugs for charging your devices, free tea and coffee, newspapers (in German though) and a variety of shops.
Passport Control is an nightmare. In Munich Airport. It can easily take 1 hour to get through. We saw lots of people miss their flights as a result. Make sure to give yourself plenty of time.
“Oktoberfest on board” - a LH crew wearing the traditional dirndl will once again take off from MUC during the Oktoberfest festival, bringing with them a touch of local colour to selected flights. Read more
T2 at Gate H32 has sleep-cabins for 15€/h (min is 30€ though). The same area also hosts lounge chairs for resting and tables to work at. Peaceful and much needed.
Smaller than his fellow hub in Frankfurt, MUC airport features faster connections and cozier atmosphere. Free WiFi, great land services, multitude of shops, pubs and restaurants. One of my favourites!
Terminal 1 follow the green S sign, get the ticket from the tkt desk or machine to Hbf "central station" for 10.50 EUR every 20min there's a train. Get your things ready before the doors are open
My favorite airport in the entire world... Spacious, free coffee everywhere, great restaurants and snack options, easy access to all gates, great business lounges... And polite staff!
One of the best modern airports in Europe. Convenient from connecting flights point of view. Spacious, clean with many choices if shops, food etc. Very good Business Lounges!
One of the best airports in the world, free (but slow) wifi, clear signs, terminal is designed as a long hallway, no turns needed to get to your gate. Sleep pods and relaxation areas.
Napcabs (private sleep cubbies w/ beds) near G07 in T2 plus showers (outside of baggage claim near the service center as you leave the terminal) are very nice (cost 15€)
Best European hub for a reason: smooth transfers and spotless facilities. Perfect for short connections (even as short as 40 mins). And the Spazio Italia lounge is amazing.
The only major German airport where you are able to make a 55 minute connection without stressing out. Love the automated border control for European Residents.
Very nice airport. Easy to navigate and has a shopping center vibe. Ensure you have at least one hour between connecting flights after touchdown as the airport is huge.
Easy to access inside without any confusion.Free wifi and also, many restaurants inside.Lufthansa customers no need to worry if you are late, their team is always there to help you out in a short time.
The 2nd busiest airport in Germany is located 28.5 km NE of Munich. It's named after former Bavarian minister-president. It has 2 passenger terminals & is fully equipped to handle A380#TravelingGermany
Free internet access at Computers by many gates. Free wifi by the Allianz arena and free coffee, tea, hot chocolate and newspapers by the Lufthansa gates!!! Totally worth a detour!
One of the best, if not the best, airport in Germany. Even while waiting for your flight you have so much to do. However a quicker access to city would be great.:)
Passing through we missed our connection. Our son was sick and the Lufthansastaff took great care of us. Having us skip the cue and putting us on the next flight ahead of the waiting list.
May be not the most handsome airport in the world but far the most efficient and welcoming. Easy transits, free coffee/newspapers... Other should follow example!
If your transfer is less than 45 mins and you are worried to miss your connection.....don't worry if you are on Lufthansa, they will handle it and you will arrive on time to your connection gate :)
Busy airport. Check which terminal you need to be in & where best to park. I you have a non-EU passport, it can be a bit of walk to passport control once through security. Give yourself enough time.
relaxed Airport, I love to check in and have a coffee upstairs while waiting for boarding (Terminal 2). Free WiFi, use "Telekom" and register, you can change the language to english if you scroll down
It’s fantastic airport. There is a work, sleep, food, shopping, and quiet areas! Even there is a glass covered 24/7 racquetball outside the airport. Hotels are a bit far away though...
Lufthansa terminal is bright and spacious. Queues are fast and not annoying. Free WiFi is available (though it's pretty slow) as well as free coffee/tea. Also it has beautiful terrace with planesview
Checking in for return flight home. Pretty easy if you are on Business Class. Getting VAT forms verified by customs prior cash refunds from Global Blue counters, 11% for every purchases beyond €30 🤗
You just can't resist Munich love, it's a very beautiful city with various historical and cultural sites, wellorganized and full of joy. Enjoy it to max.
The airport commenced operation on 17 May 1992. It is the second... busiest airport in Germany in terms of passenger traffic, handling 48 million passengers in 2019.(Show more)
