You must absolutely visit Beltera and Ford Land and read the books The Thief at the End of the World and Fordlandia both by Joe Jackson and dedicated to my great friend and fantastic guide Gil!

If you haven't heard of Henry Ford's amazonian state (Ford land), then you MUST visit Belterra! A property the size of Maryland, USA, Belterra is the remains of an American industrial rubber colony.
