The Raspberry cake is the best ever with the yoghurt icing! I love browsing the books and chatting to Meredyth, this is like your own indie 70's lounge room. I❤Bouquiniste

For the funkster in you... a short walk down Merthyr Rd from Brunswick St. Great food, great coffee... and if you're bored you can buy a book to while away the afternoon.

Coffee was great, food was yummy, barista extremely friendly and nice but the girl that serves and cook was so rude. Someone should do something about her.

A wonderfully quaint little coffee shop - a perfect place to come and read and relax. And you must try some of their homemade cookies or cupcakes.

Yummy toasted sandwich and pot of tea at an old school desk with the Weekend Australian in the afternoon sun. Just right.

It's a pity the books are just for show. Did any of the pram wielding, unemployed, chemically blonded, prado driving mothers who pack out this place all day ever read anything?

A converted house, the whole effect is a cramped setting of mismatched tables and chairs, dilapidated books and furniture, and permanently disheveled staff with sour dispositions. Avoid.
