A romantic and intimate setting with an incredible wine list, making it the ultimate date spot. The gnocchi here is to die for! Be sure to also come for brunch and get the Contadina frittata.
Amazing gnocchi with truffle oil! Must have that!!! Must must must!!!! Also the antipastomisto is great for groups. As desert I had the girella AL cioccollato, but the chocolate mousse was better.
The food here is authentic and delicious. We came for brunch and were amazed with the portion size and quality. Definitely get the brunch special (includes a drink). Apple CinnamonPancakes - YUM.
I've enjoyed dinner on the sidewalk cafe and in the back patio. Back patio is more romantic but it can get a little loud. Most memorable dishes: stuffed eggplant app & Nutella-y sponge cakedessert!
The best wine bar I've been in NYC, from hostess, bar tender, wait staff to the food. Everything on point. Get the fried artichokes, dip them in the leftover sauce from the trufflepolenta. Gnocchi.
This is the perfect date night spot! Have a bottle of Lambrusco in the back garden, and order the ricottatruffle honey bruschetta that everyone raves about!
Late night menu is the best deal. Got the ricottaMac & cheese $10, and friend got the ricotta gnocchitruffle. Ricotta heaven. Hazelnut ice cream was best but flavored ice cream I’ve ever had.
After eating Italian food here, I felt that all the Italian food I have eaten before was just rubbish. This is the best food I have ever had. Tasty, delicious total yumm. Make sure to have Gniocchi
One of the best Italian restaurants I've been to in NYC! Amazing Pastas, appetizers. I really loved their Bolognese sauce! Make a reservation in advance because this place is always packed!
I quickly saw why thia place was considered one of the most romantic places in nyc!! The backroom has a tuscanyvilla vibe😍 Try the short rib... Literally melts in your mouth🍖
Pizza style focaccia is a great starter and the stuffed eggplant is yummy, but the portions do vary in size and they don't really have side dishes. Regardless, I'll definitely be back to try more!
Fantastic experience! The food was delicious (especially the cavatelli with pesto) and the service was wonderful! Can't wait to go back and sit in the back garden (open year round).
The section in the back is all glass and has stunning light. Feels like you're in a small Italian village far away from Manhattan! And the food and wine was delicious (get the Chianti Classico!!).
One of my uptown favorites. Huge fan of the goat cheese & black pepperbruschetta, as well as the veal ragout farfalle. Wine is also incredibly well-priced. Sit in their back garden, if you can.
Nice decor, back patio is cute. Cavatelli fior di pesto was good, pasta was very soft. Had our Lambrusco in bowls which was interesting. Good for dates.
So much truffle *drool* on the menu. Gnocchi was incredible. Try and get seated in the garden at the back if you can - feels like you're in West Village, not UES.
All wine lovers should definitely check this place out,a very trendy spot in NYC with good food, great wine and a very chic and trendy vibe.Perfect for date night or a night out with the gang
goat cheesebruschetta, truffle gnocchi, carpaccio di manzo, tiramisu (we're still waiting on the tiramisu but I'm sure it will be excellent). also get the wine flight
One of the coziest restaurants in NYC. Romantic & quiet atmosphere, delicious Italian food, extensive wine offerings. Outdoor patio in back, summer seating in the front - One of my fav restaurants!
UVA UVA UVA! How did I just find out about u! Food,Wine,Decor,Ambiance.this place is so hip, cool, trendy! Def would come back.great menu n late night options!
Delicious wine and cheese selections. If you get there before 7 try the bubbly flight. Pan seared duck is my favorite. Finish with house moscato and nutellacakedessert,
An uptown favorites. Not just veal n pasta, n goat cheeseHuge fan of the goat cheese. Wine is also incredibly well-priced. try to Sit in their back garden, ....
The pappardelleragu is incredibly yummy! Start with the trufflepolenta or pear and Gorgonzola salad. Charming back garden...almost like sitting on a hill in Montepluciano.
We're obsessed with their sheep's ricotta cheese and black truffle honey bruchetta. Don't think, just get it. Pair it with the gnocchi di ricotta and a wine by the glass for a perfect experience.
Heather is the best. If your idea of a great dining experience consists of prompt service, quality conversation and personal attention all in perfect moderation - ask to be seated in her section.
We love the lunch menu, which boasts dishes like paninis pressed with ham and pecorino and polenta filled with robiola cheese in a black truffle sauce. You'll be temped to stay for dinner.
Uva's comfortable atmosphere and authentic fare are just right for any occasion, whether you're in the mood for a leisurely APERTIVO, a late night DIGESTIVO with a SNACK, a cozy DINNER, or an Italian country-
style BRUNCH.
