- Ms HeleneMarch 24, 2013Brunch was over-priced, not worth the wait and disappointing. The 'crab cake' was singular and small but tasted very fresh. The fried eggs were covered in butter and oil. Salsa and harissa mayo rocked
- Get the (new) fried green tomatoes, but ask for the buttermilk dressing instead of the vinagrette
- The duck gets lots of love, but don't sleep on the chicken. Juicy and flavorful, with a nice corn-based sauce with morrels.
- The Wall Street JournalJune 18, 2010It's all about refined comfort here. Think macaroni with grana padano or shrimp and grits with chow chow relish. Read more
- Sydney FriedmanFebruary 8, 2015Biscuits were amazing but pretty overpriced, even in a town of expensive brunch
- Damien Basile 😈January 7, 2012Try the Bacon Mac 'n Cheese - Cavatellis with cornbread bread crumbs on top
- MaleehaApril 19, 2010Not as good as the first time, but still worth it. I like their winter menu better. No mint julep slushies this time around but the Front Porch (iced tea-based) was a yummy substitute.
- RestaurantReason.comJune 12, 2011Soft shell crabs: get them. Perfection. No breading. Pure and simple like they should be!
- Damien Basile 😈January 7, 2012Try the Southern Cheeseburger - With bacon, grits & fried pickle on top!
- Ingrid R.March 5, 2011Shane is an awesome bartender! Quarter sleeves! For a lower carb option, get the brussel sprouts and beets.
- J HartleyAugust 19, 2011The mushroom spoonbread is wonderful! If it's on the menu, do not pass it up.
- HOBNOB MagazineJuly 11, 2011Southern comfort, not. Not sure what this place wants to be. Cocktails either too sweet or too bitter (peachy keen and rhubard smash). Food inconsistent. Loved ribs, got 2nd order and they were cold.
- Jennifer ChuOctober 2, 2011Amazing brunch spot if you can withstand the uber hipster, overly nonchalant service.
- Nathan ParkerNovember 27, 2011Everything was delicious... Except my waffles. Could have been a 1-off.
- Gary ManalusMay 2, 2010Catfish po' boy was delicious! The wait was long... Can get pretty crowded during weekend brunch
- Nia BattsApril 30, 2010Have the BBQ Octopus and the pickled veggie plate. Everyone keeps talking abt the brunch, must come back!
- Try the Smokey Bloody Mary but with Moonshine instead of Vodka.
- Unfortunately it's no longer the reliable neighborhood joint it once was. Food is now consistently bland and uninspired for the same Chelsea prices. You can do better at Coliccio or Monument Lane.
