- For brunch: chicken and waffles are the star. For dinner: jalapeño cornbread, Mac and cheese, kale salad. The huge steak board is amazing to share with multiple people.
- Get the duck wings, Mac n Cheese. Actually try the whole menu during week. The brunch menu in the weekend is wonderful. You will come back again and again.

- You MUST get the cornbread with jalapeños and bacon. They always warn you that it may take 20 minutes since each skillet is made to order. Absolutely worth whatever wait necessary.

- Bacon jalapeño cornbread and bacon mac n' cheese are MUSTS. The trotters are bangin, the kale salad is really good, the chicken (fried or half roasted) is incredible. Really can't go wrong.

- Pretty much anything you can order here is good. Come with a few friends and order for the table. Get the bacon and jalepeños in your corn bread. Try the fried pig tails and corn cobs. Tip Wayne well.

- Bacon paradise. The Mac n Cheese with bacon is unreal, same goes for the baked-to-order cornbread with jalapeño and bacon. They even put bacon in the country fried steak.

- This place is good, for sure, but not sure how it gets such accolades for "southern cuisine". I grew up in the rural Deep South, ate lots of wonderful things, none of which are paralleled on this menu
