Get the tripe chili if it's on the menu, served with a bag of corn chips, Frito pie-style. Otherwise, make a late night snack out of a barbecue mignonette-topped oysters and bacon jalapeño corn bread. Read more

The meatloaf sandwich is... terrifying. That said it will also do nicely for lunch tomorrow so get over how petrified you are and just order it. Cornbread also a must obviously.

I went in with the 3.5yr old I babysit, and everyone was so kid-friendly (esp. our waitress Sandy). Big tables, big portions, and tasty drinks and food. Need to go back to try more! Right by the L.

Fried duck wings and Chuck Norris. This place has it all! The cauliflower salad is a little pricey but so friggin delicious. The chicken fried steak is a beast for $16 though! Their trout is tight.

South American kitchen. Mac&Cheese and fried chicken is notable. Chicken was crunchy and juicy. Restaurant atmosphere has yellow and brownish colors. A classic and local place.
