Policy
Our prix fixe menus feature portions that are designed for family-style dining and will be sized to accommodate the number in your party. If you wish to order extra dishes add $3 per person for each additional appetizer or vegetable, and $6 per person for an additional entrée.
A few items (as indicated on the menus) will be an additional cost per person.
We ask parties of 15+ to pre-select their dishes at least 48 hours in advance of their reservation.
Children under the age of 8 are charged half price
Policy: Guarantee
If you wish to cancel your reservation we ask that you notify us at least 24 hours in advance of your reservation date. Your credit card is subject to a charge of $10.00 per person if the party, as a whole, does not show up for your scheduled booking. We request that you give us a final head count 24 hours prior to your reservation if it is different than the original party size.

We have a wide selection of french, german and austrian wines, as well as other wines from around the world. Corkage is $35.00 per 750-ml bottle and $65.00 per magnum with a 5 bottle maximum. The restaurant welcomes you to bring in your own cakes or desserts, however there is a carry-in dessert charge of $5 per person.

We opened the original slanted door on valencia street in 1995. and our vision is the same now as it was then: to blend vietnamese cooking techniques and flavors with local ingredients. Adrien Camut
Since the 1800s, the camut family has grown 115 acres of apple trees at their domaine de semainville, located in the pays d'auge, widely regarded as the finest growing region for calvados. The camut harvests 25 different varieties of apples during the fall and early winter months, ferment their juice and then double-distill the dry cider in their two wood-fueled stills. Calvados from adrien camut are rich and mouthfilling, replete with baked apple flavors and a long, round finish.

An indispensable ingredient in making high-quality distillates is the perfect quality of the fruit. That is why the reisetbauer family tends the orchards with the utmost of care, beginning with expert selection of trees adapted to the special growing conditions, continuing with rigorous pruning to reduce yield and improve quality, and ending in the harvest, which is conducted in numerous stages to guarantee that the fruit has been ideally ripened.
Marian Farms
Marian farms is an eighty-acre, diversified, demeter certified biodynamic® farm in california’s central san joaquin valley, an area referred to as the “fruit basket” of the united states. This fertile valley is known around the world for its rich, sandy loam soils and mediterranean climate. In this farming paradise, we grow grapes, almonds, lemons, oranges, peaches, and a wide variety of row crops, many of which are heirloom varieties. From our grapes, we produce sun dried raisins, and also distill high proof alcohol for tincturing herbs and espirito de la valada, our signature brandy, in our on-site distillery.

Our wine list reflects our commitment to and relationships with ecologically minded individuals who understand stewardship, clean farming, and balance. since we serve family style, we look for wines with higher acid and lower alcohol that complement the full array of our cuisine in all of it’s complexity, spice and vibrancy. this not only includes crisp, mineral-laden austrians and off-dry german rieslings, but also aged burgundies from our cellar and exciting finds from local winemakers who are exploring natural winemaking, saving old unique vineyard sites while working mindfully and creatively.
